I woke up suddenly. The light was immensely bright. Not knowing where I was I started to panic. I looked down, fully clothed. Interesting.

"Relax you're okay. You don't want to move too quickly otherwise your head will hurt" a soft voice spoke from behind me. I looked over. And sighed with relief. The soft voice of Carlisle Cullen, his wife Esme wasn't far behind him. I'd heard a lot about the Cullens, Bella has told me how kind and caring Carlisle and Esme were. So far I can understand what she was talking about. I didn't feel unsafe, if anything I felt completely safe around them. Technically I was officially breaking the treaty but in my defence I had crossed the line before I became a wolf.

"Where am I?" I asked, almost inaudibly.
"You're at our house. Bella and Edward found you unconscious in the woods. Do you remember anything that happened?" Carlisle asked.

Memories of the transformation flashed throughout my mind. I was scared. I didn't know what to do. Should tell them the truth? Maybe it's for the best? Absolutely not! You need to leave as soon as possible!
I was having a mental debate, trying to process everything that happened.

"Uhh-" I said trying to string sentences together but no words fell out of my mouth.
"I'm a wolf?" The words slipped out of my mouth before I could stop them. I cover my mouth with my hand.

"I need to go! I can't be here! the treaty. Oh my gosh I'm so sorry for crossing over!" I rambled, panic struck my facial features.
"Hey it's alright. Don't worry about that right now. Our main concern is your safety! How are you feeling?" Esme said. She was definitely giving off motherly vibes, something I haven't experienced in a long while.

"I think I'm okay. I need to get home, Sue must be worried sick!" I instantly felt horrifically guilty. She already had to worry about the death of her husband, she didn't need more stress. I sat up quickly, of the bloody rushing to my head. I gripped my head trying to stop the room from spinning. Of course the room wasn't spinning but it felt like it was.
"That's okay, Bella has offered to take you home when you're feeling up for it!" Esme smiled warmly.
"That's right, you had a nasty gash on your forehead so I've stitched that up for you so you're free to go whenever" Carlisle said.
I was instantly grateful

"I greatly appreciate you helping me. You could have left me but you didn't. So thank you so much! I best be off" I said smiling at the pair.

"Hey! How are you feeling?" Bella rushed up to me.
"I'm a lot better. Carlisle mentioned you said you'd drop me home?"
"Yes of course! Are you ready now?" I simply nodded and with that we were on out was back to La Push.

"I appreciate the ride Bella, thank you!" I said hopping out of her truck. She smiled before pulling out of the drive.

"Oh my god! Tierney! What happened? are you okay? I was so worried? What happened to your head?" Sue rushed over instantly engulfing me into a big before pulling away and cupping my cheeks.
"I'm sorry for disappearing Sue! it wont happened again. And I just had a fall and Carlisle Cullen helped me and stitched my head"
"Remind me to thank him later. I'm so glad you're safe" she said kissing the other side of my forehead before rushing back inside.

"T where you been! I was worried sick!" Leah said as she caught wind of my return. Gosh I wasn't gone that long? Surely?
"Leah I'm so sorry. No more running away. I should have been there for you, you're going through so much!" I said hugging her back.
"The main thing is that you're okay!"

"Leah I need to tell you something, but it has to stay between you and I until I've spoken to the right person about it"
"anything"
I starting walking gesturing Leah to follow. I needed to tell someone and I figured Leah would be a great person to tell as she had gone through the same transition very recently.

"Why are we out here?" She questioned.
"When I disappeared, something drastic happened. I was confused, and I fell, which is how I got this" I said gesturing to my stitched forehead.
"Bella and Edward found me and bought be back to the Cullen residence, I was out cold at that point"
"That's why you smelt like the leeches, don't tell me they changed you and you're one of them now" she said looking disgusted at me.
"No no it's not like that, they helped me, if it wasn't for them I could have ended in a far worse situation"
"If your not one of them, then what?"
"LEAH I PHASED" I cut her off. Her eyes widened.
"How was it?" "Terrible"

"Can I see?"
"What?"
"Your wolf. Can I see it?"
I hesitated. "Uh I don't exactly know how to shift?" I said unsure.
"Just think about yourself in wolf form and it'll happen"
Okay I can do that? So I thought of myself in my wolf form. And it happened. Okay that was relatively easy. Thankfully I had bough spare clothes with me. I had a feeling she'd ask so I came prepared.

My wolf was slightly different to all the ones I had seen. My fur was red with small patches of brown throughout the fur and I had a pure white stripe going down from my chest to my stomach. I was smaller than other wolves but still relatively large and I found out I was very agile.

"You have a pretty wolf T but we need to go to Sam! He'll know what to do. Don't bother shifting back. Can't be ruining anymore clothes" she said half joking. She led the way. I was nervous that I'd be rejected by the pack.
I was quite a calm wolf. I've heard that they're typically quite aggressive creatures. I hadn't felt the need to be aggressive. I suppose as I'm usually a calm human my wolf wasn't much different.

"Leah watch out!" I heard someone shout from a distance. This made me cower.
"It's okay Jacob! She's completely harmless" Leah retaliated.
"She?" Another person spoke, this time it was Paul.

Leah ignored him waving him off and spoke directly to Sam. Meanwhile I was cowering behind Leah, afraid of myself.
"Sam! We need your help!"
Everyone cleared out due to Sam's command.
"Who is this Leah?" Sam was alpha so he come across very abrupt and defensive.
I bowed my head to indicate I meant no harm.
"Tierney shifted Sam! She's terrified about what happen. That's how she got her stitches on her head, she phased when she was on her own and panicked and fell" Leah explained while Sam listened.
You could feel the tension between the two but Leah was willing to put their differences aside to help her cousin and best friend.

I whimpered.
"She seems so calm" He said more as an observation than anything.
I was scared, I didn't even know females could shift, it had been in heard of until it happened to Leah and now me.

I was scared when I found out the guys were Shapeshifters, and now that I do exactly the same  it was incomprehensible. Definitely took a terrible turn for the worse.
