My final school year was quickly coming to an end, thankfully.
There were more and more disappearances happening in the Seattle area, which meant Sam had us on patrol more frequently, making sure the residents of Forks and La Push were safe and kept unharmed.
Paul had made sure when I am on patrol that he his on with me, something about keeping me safe? I dunno what's that supposed to mean as I'm pretty capable of taking care of myself and others come to that. However that doesn't mean I wasn't going to reject his company.

"If you ever touch her without her permission again-" a voice shouted, I couldn't quite catch the rest of what the person had said as it was muffled but it definitely couldn't have been anything good. I decided out of pure nosiness and curiosity I went to find out what was going on.

Turns out Jacob and Edward were arguing over Bella 'what's new there' I thought. Charlie, Bella's father had come out to discus the situation. As i got nearer i heard Jacob say "I kissed Bella and she broke her hand... punching my face'
Brilliant, Jacob, way to go. I took this opportunity to head over and drag Jacob out of the situation used before anything else could occur.

"Come on Jacob lets go!" I called as everyone turned their heads in my direction. We started to leave before Bella called me back "Tierney! Are you coming to Alice's graduation party?" She asked hopeful.
"I wouldn't miss it for the world" I stated before turning back and pushing Jacob forward as an indication to walk away.

"What are you doing out here Tierney?" Jacob said as we were walking.
"I was patrolling with Paul when I heard your not particularly quiet conversation with a vampire" I said in a semi scolding tone.
"Where is Paul?"
"Eh probably looking for me at this current moment in time" i said shrugging my shoulders.

"So what did you do to get Edward all that angry and up in your face?" I already knew I could read his mind but I was seeing if he'd tell me the truth.
"I kissed Bella, without her permission"
"Jacob Black, you should never, under any circumstances do anything to a woman without their permission!"
"I made a mistake alright can we just drop it! It's none of your concern anyway" He said raising his voice.
"Oh I'll drop you in a minute, on your ass"
He was so confident that it was none of our concern when in fact it is all of our concerns. We have a treaty with the Cullens and I'd be damned if Jacob is the one who breaks that on behalf of the wolves.. plus I am a woman and women should protect one another.

I was angry with him and the look on my face probably gave that away. The second Paul and I made eye contact he ran over to out direction. He saw the angry look on my face and narrowed his eyes on Jacob, "what's wrong?" He asked me and without letting me answer he turns to Jake and says "what did you do?"

"I just stopped Jacob from breaking the treaty, but I'll let him explain that to Sam as I'm going to bed because I am tired.

"Hey I'm glad you could make it" Bella greeted me. Tonight was her graduation and I had planned on bringing Quil and Embry with me as Paul insisted. He didn't particularly like it when I told him I was going but I quickly and not so gently told him that me going was not up for debate so this was the compromise. However Jake caught wind and insisted he tagged along.

"What are you doing here?" Bella turned to speak to Jacob.
"You invited me remember"
"Was might right hook not subtle enough for you? That was me uninviting you" she retorted.

I smiled but drowned out the rest of the conversation between the two.

"Excuse me" Bella said that broke me out of my thoughts. She looked like she'd seen a ghost so we all followed after her, Jacob's idea.

"Alice what did you see?" The small dark hair vampire just looked at her with worry.
"You're not going to Seattle?" Bella stated.
Alice shook her head "they're coming here" she said we major worry laced in her voice. Who are coming?

The rest of the Cullens had been called, some less that thrilled that wolves were in their home but we had been invited.

"They'll be here in four days" Alice said softly
"This could turn into a blood bath" Carlisle replied taking a seat.
"Who's behind it?" Edward asked comforting Bella.
"I didn't see anyone I recognised" Alice spoke again. I found out she had a gift, she could see things before they happened. I suppose it was an advantage for somethings.
"Maybe one" she continued
"I know his face... he's local, Riley Biers. But he didn't start this" Edward said
"Well whoever did is staying out of the action"
"They must be playing with the blind sports of your visions" Carlisle came to the conclusion.

"Either way this army is coming and there aren't enough of us to protect the town" Jasper said.
I was slowly starting to learn the names of the Cullen clan. I already knew Carlisle, Esme and Edward, and Bella pointed out the rest for me when we gathered here.

"Hold up. What damn army?" Jacob interrupted.
"Newborns. Our kind" Carlisle said.
"What are they after?" I questioned.
"They we're passing around Bella's scent. A red blouse" Alice confirmed.
"They're after Bella" Jacob asked, concerned. I rolled my eyes, all he care me about was her and not the safety of everyone else. Embry and I shared a look as if we knew what was coming next.

"What the hell does this mean?"
"It means an ugly fight. With lives lost"

Jacob looked towards the three of us and we all nodded slightly. I nodded, not without rolling my eyes again.

"Alright we're in" he said to the Cullens.
"No, you'll get yourselves killed no way" Bella finally spoke up.

"Jacob. Do you think Sam would agree to an understanding?" Carlisle asked.
"As long as we get to kill some vampires"

"Fighting new borns require knowledge that Jasper has. You're welcome to join us" Carlisle said to the four of us.
"Name a time and place"

With that the party was more or less over at this point so Embry, Quil and I decided to head home while Jacob stayed.
