"Now you know. That's your future. Unless you decide on another course," Alice says to Aro in regards to his demise.
No one apart from Edward (probably) knew what Alice had showed Aro. But I'm pretty sure everyone gathered that it can't have been a good vision she had shown him.
"I've been searching from witnesses of my own, among the Tacuna Tribes of Brazil" She declared. "We have enough witnesses" "let him speak brother"
Alice had managed to successfully track down someone who is exactly like Renesmee. "A vampire seduced my mother and she died giving birth to me. I was raised by my aunt, I made her immortal" he explained.
"How old are you?" Bella asked desperately searching for answers for her beautiful daughter. "150 years. I became fully grown 7 years after my birth" this made Bella and Edward smile at one another. They knew they'd have a long time to spend with their daughter, they were going to lose her suddenly because she was a hybrid. She would live a long time and everyone was thrilled.
"And your diet?" Aro asked the man. His facial expressions were unreadable. He showed interest but also some how managed to keep a straight face. This wasn't necessarily the news he was looking for but he had so stay impartial to the situation. We all knew he's side though.
"Blood, human food. I can survive on either" "These children are just like us" "That doesn't change the fact that the Cullens have been consorting with our natural enemies the wolves" Caius said angrily. Caius wanted nothing more than the Cullens to be punished and wouldn't be satisfied until they were. "Dear ones, there is no danger here. We will not fight today" Aro turned to his guards and said. The enraged Caius, knowing they had gotten away with what they had, or hadn't done, in his opinion they were still guilty.
With that the entire Volturi coven, made their exit. Aro was the last to leave, not before turning back and saying out loud "such a prize" about Alice.
The air instantly felt refreshed. The tension had diminished almost instantaneously, relief washed over the remaining individuals. So much so, each couple turned to one another, showing the other with pure love and affection. Paul had nudged his furry head onto mine before Sam lead the entire pack away from the battle field.
Home seemed so appeasing right now and all I wanted to do was curl up in my bed snuggled with Paul nothing doing anything for a little while.
We still had our vacation to look forward to, a trip to the Maldives was definitely much needed.
