About a week after Paul and I returned from our trip we received a joint invitation to Bella and Edward's wedding.
I was beyond excited, especially considering I've never been to a wedding in my entire existence. I RSVP'd almost immediately.
Paul on the other hand was was little more sceptical about going, taking into considering he, along with the rest of the wolves have never really seen eye to eye with the Cullen family. He was unsure that it would be a god idea to attend.

Although I would have liked for him to come along, as the invitation was addressed to him also, I understood where he was coming from. Not to say I wasn't a little disappointed.

"All I'm saying is that it would be nice if you would be there" I turned to Paul taking both his hands in my own.
"I dunno, the wolves and the bloodsuckers don't exactly have the best relationship" he said.
"Okay. I get it. I'll RSVP two spaces just in case you do decide you want to come" "but for your information, I'm dressing very pretty like and you won't be able to see my dress without coming to the wedding" I teased walking away from him.
"Uh come on, don't do that to a guy. And I have no doubt you'll be the prettiest one there" he always knew what to say.

Word quickly got out that Jacob had reacted badly to receiving a wedding invitation from the love of his life. I mean a bit of a kick in the teeth but hopefully he'll get the hint that she doesn't reciprocate his feelings. Probably not but we can only hope, for his sake anyways.

The next day quickly rolled around and I went to visit Billy Black.

"Hey. Any sign of him?" I asked sensitively.
"Nope none. I'm getting worried now"

"I'm sure he's okay Billy. Probably just needed some time to cool off. I suppose it's not everyday someone receives an invite to the wedding of the person they're in love with" I shrugged. I felt bad for Billy, his son left without saying a word, distraught over a girl. The same girl who is getting married very soon.

The rest of the afternoon was spent dress shopping, I hadn't a clue what I was looking for, what style, colour, anything. It was one of those moments when I'd know it was the one when I saw it. Until then I was basically a lost cause.

After about two hours I decided to give up. I knew I wouldn't find something straight away and my attention span wasn't always the best so tomorrow I decided I'd drive a little further a field, maybe I'd find the right dress. I wasn't going to hold my breath.

On the second day it was the same as the first. No luck in finding a dress. I was adamant that I would find something on the third day. But nope that outcome was exactly the same as the first and second. So was the fourth and fifth day. I was quickly running out of time to find a dress and at this rate I'd be picking from my closet.

I had even tried online shopping which was an epic fail.
I was hanging out at Emily's, with my laptop in front of me, trying to find new shops that I hadn't looked in yet and it was proving damn near impossible.

"How about this one?" Emily said pointing my my computer screen from e when she was standing behind me. She had pointed to a link to a shop called Luna's Dresses For All Occasions.
"It's just over in Forks!" I exclaimed gleefully.
"Well why are you sitting there? Let's go" Emily said grabbing our jackets and bags. We climbed into my Toyota RAV4 and dove off immediately to the dress shop. I had a good feeling about this one. I could tell Emily did to.

It was as if the dress was waiting for my arrival. Hypothetically of course.
"You have to try it on" Emily gushed.

"oh my gosh, Tierney! You look so beautiful" Emily said as I came out of the dressing room.
"I have the perfect pair of shoes to go with it" now I had found my dress I was so excited for this wedding.
My dress was the most beautiful shade of purple, satin material and it stopped about mid-thigh. It was quite a simple, yet elegant dress and I knew my shoes had to match but also be a statement piece. Alice wouldn't have it any other way. It was simply stunning but I knew it wouldn't outshine the bride and that was my main concern. My concerns were dismissed as soon as Emily gushed and told me it was perfect.

We stopped for lunch and of course I had to go to the local book store to add to my never ending pile of books, before heading back home.

The tension was still raw when we got back. Jacob was still missing, no contact had been made. We all tried to assure Billy that he was okay but in reality none of us were sure.
The wedding for a few days away and there was no way, no matter how upset he was at the sheer fact that his love didn't love him the same way, that he would miss his best friends wedding. No matter how much but hurt.

Whether he'd show up for the ceremony or afterwards at the party, there wasn't a single doubt in my mind that he would miss seeing Bella before she was officially turned into a vampire.

I was still slightly put out about park not putting the tribes and Cullens differences aside. The Cullens have never done anything to the wolves but because of legends and that the wolves and cold ones are natural enemies he wasn't budging.

I suppose it wasn't all that bad, I'd have Seth, Sue and Billy with me so I wouldn't be totally alone.

Recently Leah had been more reserved than ever. She was cooped up in her room so I decided to go and check on her as well as be annoying until she tells me the truth because I knew for a fact that she will say she's fine.

"Knock, knock, knock" I said knocking on the door and entering before she told me I could enter.
"I could have been naked" she stated.
I shrugged and said "we'll you aren't. Now tell me what's up"
"Nothing is up"she said. Knew it.
"I knew you'd say that as we both know you're not so tell me"
"Honestly I'm all good. I'm just not overly excited about the blood suckers wedding. But I know you're excited so it's easier for me not to say anything"
"I know you don't like them. Thats why I haven't pestered you about going. That doesn't mean you can't talk to me about these things, I want to make sure you're happy too, you mean everything to me Leah!" I said leaning my head onto of hers.
"I am happy. I promise" she said.
