20 ¦ No More Dream

I put the hoover back in the cupboard and went back into the living room, where I saw Ni-ki standing with his mobile phone in his hand. He looked up at me for a moment and then back at his mobile. He typed something and then put it in his pocket.

"I have to go." He said and I couldn't help wondering if he had to leave because of Lilien.

"Okay." I replied curtly and walked with him to the front door. "Thanks for helping clean up." I said as he put on his shoes. "No problem. I got something for it, after all." Ni-ki grinned at me knowingly and I bit my tongue not to say anything in response. I opened the front door for him but he stopped in the doorway.

"No kiss goodbye?" He raised his eyebrows questioningly. "No." I said as I pushed him outside. "Then don't. You know what you're missing." He winked at me and turned around.

I closed the door behind him. The big part of me was glad he was gone, but a small, crazy part was angry. Because he had to leave and because he was texting Lilien with that bitch. "We're leaving too." I heard Jungwon's voice behind me.

I turned around and saw Jake, Jungwon, Sunoo and Victoria standing in the hallway and nodded. Victoria hugged me and then smiled at me. "The party was fun. We should do it again." I narrowed my eyes to slits. "You can forget that." I replied and she laughed. "It was worth a try. I'll write to you in the evening." She said with a smile and walked out with the others.

After closing the front door, I went back into the living room and lay down on the sofa. Heeseung sat down next to me, not wanting to go home yet because he was bored and had nothing better to do. I turned on the TV and made myself comfortable.

I heard music from the dance room, probably my brothers were dancing again.

After about 3 hours, Heeseung said goodbye to me, apologising again for people's behaviour yesterday. Towards the evening, I was getting bored, so I decided to make dinner for me and my brothers. Since I didn't feel like going up the stairs, I called Sunghoon to let him know they should come down.

"Cami?" he asked into the phone, visibly confused. "Did something happen?" Why does he always think something has happened when I call him? "Um hi, and no nothing happened. I just wanted to tell you to come down. I've cooked dinner, so unless you're not hungry I'll leave you food in the fridge." I only heard a slap from his side, probably he gave himself a face-palm.

"You're so stupid Cam, thanks for cooking, we'll be right down," and with that he hung up. I looked at the finished food and thought about what I should do now. I wanted to ask Jake if he wanted to come over later and continue watching the show we were watching together. I dialled his number and called him.

"Caaaaaam! Hey, what's up? Are you missing me already? We already saw each other this morning" I heard him say on the other line. "Something like that." I grinned and he snorted. "My brothers and I are about to eat, but I wanted to ask if you wanted to come over again and we could continue watching 'the Blacklist'? Or if you haven't eaten yet, you can come over now and join us. There's plenty" "Food? Be right there." He hung up and I laughed softly.

10 minutes later my brothers were already sitting at the table when the doorbell rang. "You're lucky I'm hungry." Jake said, hugging me and marching into the kitchen. "You're always hungry." I replied with a grin and put food on his plates.

"So what happened between you and Ni-ki last night?" He asked me, looking at me with a knowing grin. "Nothing was going on. Why do you ask?" I looked at him with wide eyes. "Because I heard you." He replied and I widened my eyes even more in shock and almost dropped my plate, which I was about to carry into the dining room to Jay and Sunghoon.
