Chase The Dark Together || Nishimura Riki (Ni-Ki)

45 ¦ Attention, please!

I arrived at the youth hostel. Far and wide no one was to be seen. I stopped briefly and thought again whether I should not go back to Victoria and the others. But somehow I was just so curious and before I could make a retreat, I went around the hostel. I stopped at the wall and slowly peered around the corner. I snapped my eyes open when I saw a couple making out. 

To be more precise it was Lilien and some guy, Felix if I'm not mistaken. I immediately hid behind the wall again so they wouldn't see me. Confused, I frowned and looked back and forth a bit to see if maybe someone else was still there who had sent me the message. But I couldn't see anyone and finally I figured I was probably just being pranked. I didn't know why anyone would do such a thing, but I didn't want to think about it any further. Since I didn't feel like going back to the bonfire, I pulled out my phone and texted Victoria.

I'm kind of tired, so I'm going to bed. – Cam 

As I sent the message, I heard a moan and covered my ears. Gross. I need to get out of here right now before I witness something that gives me nightmares! I thought and went back around the hostel to the entrance. There I got an answer from Victoria, which I quickly read.

I put my phone back in my pocket and went inside, up the stairs until I was standing in front of our room. Luckily I had the key to our room and not Victoria, otherwise I would have had to run back for the key. When the key was in the keyhole, I turned the key, opened the door and turned on the light. But when I looked up, I was rooted to the spot. 

In the room were Heeseung and NI-KI! 

Heeseung was sprawled on a bed and Ni-ki was sitting on my bed, but when he saw me, he immediately stood up and looked at me. I blinked a few times because I wasn't sure if I was imagining it. But when Ni-ki spoke to me, I was sure I wasn't imagining it. 

"Hey..." After he said that, I somehow managed to break out of my stupor. 

"What the hell are you guys doing here?" I asked both of them, but I didn't want to look at Ni-ki, so I looked to Heeseung, who had sat up by now. 

"It was his idea." Said Heeseung, raising his hands protectively in front of him. Like I was about to jump on him like a fury. I'd rather do that to Ni-ki. 

Ni-ki looked at Heeseung annoyed because he probably shouldn't have said that. 

"I don't care whose idea this was, you're not supposed to be here! Get out of this room!" I probably got so angry because Ni-ki was in the room. 

"I'll leave as soon as we talk." Ni-ki said seriously and I looked at him now. 

"I'll leave you two alone and go find my girlfriend." Heeseung got up from the bed and I would have loved to kill him for leaving me alone in the room with Ni-ki. He closed the door behind him and I crossed my arms in front of my chest. 

"You should go too now," I said calmly, trying to suppress my anger because it wouldn't do me any good to yell at him. 

"Not until you're not mad at me anymore." I tried to walk to my bed, but he was standing next to it, so I stopped in the middle of the room. 

"I told you to leave me alone. Why can't you just leave me alone?" Again, I got all emotional because the memory of our fight and Yeonjun came up. Damn, I thought I had cried myself out!

 "Because I like you. A lot!" I would have liked to cover my ears, because I did not want to hear it. With such words he only tried to manipulate me, so that I wasn't angry anymore. "And I know you like me too. You're just hurt right now and I understand that, but it won't do you any good to push me away all the time because I'm not going to disappear from your life." 

I sat down on the bed closest to me and farthest away from him because I felt like my legs wouldn't be able to carry me anymore. 

"If you understand me, why don't you give me some time and stay away from me?" I asked, closing my eyes briefly so tears wouldn't come. 

"Because it's so damn hard to stay away from you Sweetheart." I opened my eyes, looked at him and swallowed. It looked like he was holding back from going to me. It was better that way, because I don't know what I would have done if he had taken me in his arms. Then all the dams would probably break. 

"Did you send me the message?" I asked suddenly, remembering again the reason I had come here. 

"Yeah, I was going to meet you, but then all of a sudden Lilien and some guy showed up and I had to get out of there before they saw me. And before you ask, I texted you from Heeseung's cell phone because I knew you wouldn't come if you knew it was me." He was right about that. But how could it be? I already had Heeseung's number, weird...

"And how did you get into our room? Did you break in?" To be honest, I wouldn't have put it past him. After all, it's Ni-ki we're talking about here....

"No. I know someone who works here at the hostel and he told me your room number and gave me the spare key for the room." My mouth dropped open in shock. 

"What? But..But that's...He can't just do that!" I ran my hands through my hair in horror. 

"He wouldn't give a key to a stranger, he knows me." Ni-ki tried to reassure me. 

"That doesn't mean it's okay." I frowned and he sighed. Then I stood up. "I'm tired, you should really go." Ni-ki seemed hesitant at first, but when he saw my seemingly exhausted look, he nodded curtly. 

"Okay. I'll see you tomorrow. Good night." He walked toward the door and I turned to face him. 

"Tomorrow? Ni-ki go home. We're here for a whole week and we have a program too, you can't just stay here." I said seriously. Besides, the thought of him skipping school while he was here worried me. 

"I didn't drive here for nothing and I'll stay here all week if I have to until you're not mad anymore. And don't worry about whether I get in trouble or not." 

"I wasn't worried." I said, crossing my arms in front of my chest. He grinned at me. 

"Of course not Sweetheart." Then he winked at me and walked out of the room. I sighed and laid down on the bed. So much for a week's rest from Yeonjun and Ni-ki. 

A few minutes later, Victoria came into the room with a smile on her face. I wonder why... 

"You probably won't believe this, but Heeseung is here!" She grinned and squealed slightly as she sat down on her bed.

"But I can believe it because Ni-ki is here too." I said and the smile disappeared from her face.
