ROTG 2: Love Conquers All (Jack X Cupid & Bunny X Y/N)

Chapter 23: A New Guardian

When they got back, the others were waiting for them.

"Pitch is taken care of," Bunny said as Y/N nodded.

"That's good," North replied.

"We're not out of the woods yet though. There are still some places that hate is still around," Jack pointed out.

"He's right, even though the worst of it may be done," Cupid said.

"Then let's get to it," Tooth told them as Sandy nodded.

They all headed all over the world and got rid of all the hate, which didn't take long since Bunny and Y/N got the big ones out of the way.

They then regrouped back at the pole.

"Well that's done," Tooth commented.

"Not quite," North said, making everyone look at him, then he added, "Y/N told me that when this was done, she was ready to become Guardian."

"Oh yeah," Y/N nodded then said, "But there's only one thing."

"What's that?" Jack asked.

"I don't know what my center would be. I remember Cupid telling me that you all have something inside you that you protect in children and what make you you. I just don't know what that would be for me," Y/N explained.

There was a small pause between them, knowing she had a point.

"I think I know what it is," Bunny spoke up.

"What?" Y/N wondered.

"Creativity. I remember when we painted eggs in the warren, how precise you were with it. You even told me you had a knack for painting before you became Mother Nature. Also, Cupid told me about the rise in certain flowers since we met," Bunny told her.

Y/N gave a small glare to Cupid.

"What? Like you were gonna really deny that work of art," Cupid pointed out.

Y/N shook her head with a small smile.

"I can even vouch for how you make nature beautiful during spring. So, if there's one word I could pick to describe what you do, it's creative," Bunny finished.

"He does have point. Would you agree with that?" North asked.

Y/N thought about it before saying while smiling at Bunny, "I think I do."

"Well then, it is time you take oath!" North declared.

Phil then came in with the book and Y/N faced the others proudly.

"Will you, Mother Nature, vow to watch over the children of the world, to guard them with your life, their hopes, their wishes, and their dreams, for they are all that we have, all that we are, and all that we will ever be?" North asked.

She took a deep breath before answering, "I will."

"Then congratulations, Mother Nature. For you are now and forevermore a Guardian," North told her.

She smiled ecstatically before Bunny scooped her up in a hug, which she returned as the others cheered for her. This was gonna be a great new chapter in Y/N's life.

Everyone then headed back home, Jack taking Cupid home.

"That was hectic," Cupid commented.

"No kidding," Jack agreed then said, "I'm just glad you're okay. The fact I was so close to losing you was scary."

She smiled, hugged him, which he returned, then she told him, "It was, but if any one romantic love was important to me, it was yours. More helped, but the fact that your love for me didn't falter once kept me from dying altogether."

He held her tight with a smile before replying, "I will never stop loving you, Cupid. You're everything to me."

They then parted a bit to face each other then he kissed her, her returning it. It lasted for a while before they eventually parted.

"I didn't miss that time?" Jack smirked.

Cupid giggled before answering, "Not at all."

"So you up for a date tomorrow night?" he asked.

"Sure. But for now, we need to keep our guards up. You know Y/N and Bunny will have their revenge," she reminded.

"True, but if there's anything I've learned about us, it's that we prepare for anything," Jack pointed out.

"You're right. So it's a date tomorrow," Cupid said.

"Great. I love you," he told her.

"I love you too," she responded.

They kissed one more time before he flew off.
