POKEMON: THE MYSTERIOUS HERO

THE AWAITED BATTLE! [CHAPTER-6]

[Professor Rowan came forward addressing the students and others]

PROF-ROWAN: Wish you all a very good afternoon so today as usual we are going to have battles among the higher class trainers who will battle each other and prove themselves and I want all the students of other classes to look and observe carefully as these battles will give you an example and help you gain experience! 

[With that he goes down and soon the tournament round begins with several trainers from higher classes battling each other and Ash was already unimpressed by their battling skills. Most of them held for power and type advantage not even caring for their pokemon only caring to win. They didn't even understand the true meaning of pokemon battling. He saw when one trainer would win he would leave with a smile or smirk of arrogance not even caring for his/her pokemon and the trainer who lost had a angry expression with frustation evident towards their own pokemon] 

NATE: Wow those moves were super cool and their pokemon were so strong... but shame their trainers don't even acknowledge their hardwork.. [Says with his furrowed brows] 

[Though his sentence made Ash smile]

ASH: [Thinks] I am glad their is someone beside me who understands it.. [Then looks at him and says] Care to elaborate?

NATE: I mean.. look at them their pokemon all give their best but the trainers don't even acknowledge it and they are only focused on winning not even caring for their Pokémon's health.....

ASH: You are right and I am glad you understand that how important your pokemon are to you..

[Then they see the referee coming and began to announce]

REFEREE: Now the moment we have been waiting for today we are going to see an battle between a highly experienced trainer and a member of the student council who has impressed us with her battling skills from the day she arrived! 

[The crowd began to cheer excited to see her battle as Ash was confused and he turns to Nate only to find him excited and cheering as well which made him curious]

ASH: Uh.. why is everyone being excited... is she such a great trainer as the referee speaks?

NATE: [Looks at him surprised] Wait.. you don't know about her she is really a great trainer the day she arrived she just blitz past through the entrance exams though she did had it tough beating some 6-7 years experienced trainers and she failed so she was placed in class A but soon in few months she achieved herself a seat in S-Class!

ASH: Hmm.. so do you know everyone in the student council huh?

NATE: Well they always get praised around the academy so one could always get to know them besides you can say I have a friend who is also a part of the student council...

ASH: Oh.. alright.. 

[Then Referee continues] 

REFEREE: Please welcome an elite from the academy with 7 years of experience Mike who will battle against the member of the student council honed with skills Leaf Green!!

[The crowd erupts in cheers as both the trainers step up but Ash's eyes widen in shock as he looks at Leaf who had emerged waving her hand towards the crowd as everyone were cheering for her while Ash stares at her stunned]
