BATTLE ROUNDS 2/2 [CHAPTER-17]

[Sorry for not updating this fic for a long time almost a year..]

[We see Ash walking towards the stands as he felt many pairs of eyes watching him when he heard the sound of few footsteps coming towards him and he already knew who did those footsteps belonged too as he turns around to see Nate, Barry, Sawyer and Gary approaching him as they stand infront of him]

GARY: Well-Well Ashy-Boy you clearly wiped the floor with Ethan, ever thought of becoming a janitor.. [Says with one of his snarky comment]

ASH: Knock it off Oak tree... [Ash said not in the mood of arguing with Gary when he looked at the others were giving him surprised looks] Have questions? Just throw them out.

NATE: You. How much were you holding back this whole time? [Says quite shocked with the battle that took place]

SAWYER: You were holding back your strength in our battle too right? [Says with a frown]

ASH: Yes.. [Says simply while Ash knew that he was still holding back alot but he didn't want to show all his power and even if he did than lets say that there won't be academy standing]

ETHAN: Yeah now I am also curious about the opponent who clearly destroyed me.. [Asks Ethan who approaches the group with a curious grin]

SAWYER: Hey Ethan! You were great out there but I am sorry you lost.. [Says while putting a hand on Ethan's shoulder]

ETHAN: Don't sweat.. win and loss are a part of pokemon trainer's career. The important thing is what you learn from the loss and I have learned to not underestimate your opponents and the fact that my strategies have alot of flaws. 

ASH: I agree and it clearly shows how experienced you are as a trainer Ethan. The battle was good. [Says with a smile which he returns]

ETHAN: Yeah? Even after you completely destroyed me.. [Says with a joking tone with a hint of sarcasm when he gains a determined smile] Though I must say the power I have seen today really made me think of the battles I had with elite four members and the fact you defeated me clearly shows that I have so much to learn still so now..  get ready because from now on I am adding you as one of my rivals. [Ash was surprised while everyone gasp]

GARY: For real.. damn Ashy-boy, be careful because once Ethan makes someone his rival then he doesn't rest till he has defeated them.. [Looks at Ash]

ASH: Well I am honored and good luck. [Says Ash as both the trainers start there rivalry with a handshake when they hear a voice]

????: Your skills are really something to admire boy.. [Says a voice from behind as Nate recognizes it while Gary, Ethan and Sawyer were surprised hearing the voice as Ash turns around to sees a boy the same age as him him approaching the group]

NATE: Hugh? [Surprised]
