Ajay:"You, yourself saw everything.....what will you do now?"

I was not able to process anything.....Ignoring the fact that when did Ajay came to me, I was just looking at their lip movements but nothing else. The only thing running in my mind is Ajay's words. Is it true?

But something in my heart stirred and got me into my senses. What am I thinking? I looked at Prabha and noticed his tensed face.....He was not talking to her not reflecting her smile, the smile which I noticed on her is not an admiring one or to grab attention but it's out of sympathy. Then only I noticed that they are coming out of Manager's office.

Why didn't I notice all these before? May be what people say is correct, even a slightest amount of anger and doubt present inside, won't allow you to see the truth that is infront of you.

I frowned and walked towards them.

Prabha:"Thanks for your help Jasmine. I am sorry you have to hear so much from the management because of me, my manager will speak to them.....for now my first priority is finding her. Clean all the arrangements I asked to make. Today I once again realized everything won't go the way we planned."

His voice is shaking and is little raspy and I am not able to understand what they're talking about.

Jasmine:"OK, Sir.....we will remove all the decorations and pictures but what about the cake atleast you should take it to your room."

Prabha:"No.....distribute it to your staff. I already paid the amount." Jasmine nodded with a sad face. "Now if you excuse me."

His appearance is not presentable. He is wearing a black blazer, white t-shirt that is half tucked, his hair is a complete mess. He was about to run but stopped seeing me.....a sense of relief spread across his face.

But he looked behind me and I can see his eyes turning red in anger. He walked towards me.

Prabha:"Where the fuck were you till now? Do you have any idea, how much worried when I was not able to find you in our room and your phone is not reachable. How can you be so careless and irresponsible. Atleast a simple message or phone call from you would have been enough for me. I would've not searched you everywhere for 2 hours."

A part of me is feeling guilty for making him worried but at the other hand I wanted to confront him about all this and him lying before.

Ajay:"She would've told you if you were more responsible and not a Lier."

Prabha's eyes shifted to Ajay and I can sense his anger increasing. If I don't stop him, definitely Ajay will be at receiving end today and I don't want my cousin to end up wounded due to my husband.

Prabha:"What the fuck are you talking about?" Prabha walked towards him but I stopped him.

Sakshi:"Ajay, please leave."

Ajay:"But Sakshi, he is so angry.....what if"

Sakshi:"Trust me, he won't do anything which you're fearing about."

Ajay left half heartedly handing me my phone which I forgot at Sri and Bhoomi's house.

Prabha:"Are you with him, till now?"
