Sakshi'sPOV.....

I opened my eyes to a very familiar room. I looked at my surroundings to see the same room where I treated many people when I was a junior doctor.

I looked at my left to see an empty chair beside my bed. I tried to get up to call someone but my whole body aches like hell. I looked at my right hand to see a long scratch and my right leg is wrapped in a band-aid.

Oh.....God!!! Again I got into an accident? My eyes blurred and got heavy before I lost balance. Prabha will kill me now.

I looked at the door to see Prabha coming in with a worried face. As soon as his eyes met mine his worry turned into relief and concern. But he covered it and went out again. He came back with doctor and Megha.

Doc:"How are you feeling, Sakshi?" she asked in a kind of scolding way.

Sakshi:"I.....I....." Prabha handed me water. I drank and looked at Prabha and doctor on confusion.

Doc:"Don't worry, Dr. Kavitha told me everything. I will keep it very confidential." I nodded. "What happened?"

Sakshi:"I felt my eyes getting blur while driving, after that I lost balance and everything is blank."

I saw Prabha clenching his fist controlling his anger on me for not listening to him.

I looked down unable to meet his red eyes that have anger and worry at the same time.

He is talking to doctor and listening to her instructions to which I am not even paying any attention thinking about the storm that will break out as soon as she goes out.

He left along with doctor. All my thoughts left me as soon as I saw Megha coming with a bundle wrapped in her hand.

I know who it is and slowly sat leaning back.

She gave a nice earful before we played with him for sometime.

After sometime Prabha came and lifted me to place in a wheelchair and shifted me to a private room.

All this while he didn't say anything to me. Night Attayya stayed with me and next morning Nisha's parents and Varun visited me. He said Nisha was feeling guilty thinking she is the reason for all this.

I sent a warning message through Varun and after some time I got discharged not before receiving lot of instructions from my doctor.

Prabha was driving the car, Mavayya in passenger seat while Attayya and I are sitting in back seat. Since yesterday I am getting an earful from everyone. I know I deserve it for my carelessness.

At least Attayya Mavayya scolded me but my husband is not saying anything to me. Not even looking at me.

His eyes once met mine through the rear view mirror but he looked away after few seconds.

I am continuously looking at him. I know he is aware of it but not ready to meet my eyes. I smiled at my Ayyatta who is sleeping beside me. She didn't sleep properly last night in that small bed. 

She fought with Mavayya and Prabha to stay with me whole night. Last night I once again realized how lucky am I to have these wonderful people in my life.
