Sakshi understood her in-laws heard everything by looking at their expressions. She didn't dare to say anything, being scared of them misunderstanding her like Prabha.

She ran to her room and cried her eyes out clutching the ring tightly in her hands.  Her ears are ringing with all his accusations.

She knows he saw her being close to her friend. That was not intentional being so close to him. She was excited to see that beautiful birds responding to her and didn't realize when they got that close to each other till that store owner suggested to buy love-birds thinking them as a couple. 

She felt a hand caressing her hair and looked up to see Raji sat beside her. She sat up and hugged Raji.....

Sakshi:"Amma, please believe me I am not like that. He is misunderstanding me. I swear he is only a friend nothing more."

Raji:"Sakshi, you don't have to explain anything. When we said that you're our daughter, we didn't said it just like that, we really mean it. We trust you Sakshi."

Sakshi:"It hurts ma.....he didn't believe me. He said that I....I....ha....have....." She cried again closing her eyes tightly.

Raji:"I know Sakshi.....what he said is definitely not acceptable and you have full right to get angry on him. I am telling don't forgive him. I know you may now hate him too but before that hate grows more I think you know who is Nandini?" Sakshi nodded looking down "how much you know about her or what happened to them?" 

Sakshi:"All I know is he is in love with her for many years and he still loves her.....but I don't why they are not together now." She replied looking at the ring in her hands.

Raji:"Because she married someone else and he don't have any idea about that." Sakshi felt pain more than anger in her voice.

Sakshi:"Amma?"

Raji:"He loved her a lot Sakshi....we were very happy when all the problems were solved and we're ready to welcome her into our family when she returns completing her studies. They had few misunderstandings.....but never thought she will do this. You know Sakshi, here he was getting mad calling her continuously not even able to enjoy his first success and there she was busy in getting into a relationship with someone else. We still remember the day he came to know about her marriage news.....he was not ready to believe and was in a false impression that she might be forced into this until we heard from her father that she didn't even inform her own father about her marriage.....After hearing all this he.....he....we almost....." She couldn't speak anymore and cried a lot.....

Sakshi couldn't stop her tears seeing her MIL this miserable and hugged her a lot.....

Sakshi:"Amma, please it's ok....no need tell me anything now. Please don't cry.....I will also cry now seeing you like this...." Raji wiped Sakshi's tears along with hers.

Raji:"I am not saying what he did is right.....I am telling you, make him pay for each and every word he used to accuse you but please don't hate him.....He is afraid to trust anyone Sakshi, he didn't let any outsiders come close to him till now except his friends. He don't even like to admit that because he is scared of people judging him as weak. After so long we saw him being so comfortable with you.....he trusted you to share his most painful moments, Sakshi. Believe me till now he didn't share his pain even with us. I think looking at you with someone else reminded him about her betrayal....that might be the reason he behaved that way.....I am sorry on behalf of him, Sakshi. Please don't leave him....." Raji joined her hands infront of her.
