Max, Vex and Claire are sitting around the dinner table, eating and talking. Rover, a rottweiler is lying on the floor next to the table.
Max: By the way, weren't you supposed to get that letter today?
Vex: Yeah! Mom?
Cla: To be honest, Vex. I haven't checked the mailbox yet, with this weather I don't wanne go outside.
It was raining extremely heavily.
Max: I'll get it.
Cla: No, you won't. Not in this.
Max: It's just rain, mom. It won't kill me.
Max stands up
Cla: Sit down! Finish your food.
Max: Mom! I just want to get his college letter, it's gonna take two seconds.
Cla: Max.
Vex: It's fine, finish diner bro.
Max sits back down and continues eating. Skip to after dinner, Max is wearing her jacket and opens the front door, she walks towards the mailbox. While she's walking the rain becomes thicker, heavier. Max keeps walking and reaches the mailbox, she looks down as she wanted to open the mailbox but instead she noticed her arm. Her arm turned full rainbow, her skin was glowing.
Max: Wow!
Max looks amazed at this phenomenon. She looks up to the sky and a raindrop fell into her eye.
Max: Ow!
Max covers her eye with her hand and shakes it off. She opens the mailbox, her skin still glowing in rainbow colors. She grabs the post and heads back inside. Max closes the door and takes off her jacket and her shoes. She looks down on her arm and it's back to normal.
Max: I'm going mad
Max walks back into the kitchen and hands the post to Claire. Claire goes to it to find the letter for Vex. She finds it and hands it to Vex. Both Max and Claire are waiting with anticipation for Vex to open his letter. Vex cuts the envelope and takes out a thick packet. He starts reading the letter and starts looking really upset. Max and Claire start smiling
Max: BRO!
Vex: I didn't get in
Max hugged Vex
Cla: Congratulations son
Vex: I just said, I DID NOT get in.
Max: Please. We know your tricks
Vex smiles
Vex: Couldn't even give me that, could you?
Vex goes to hug Claire.
Vex: Thank you, Max. For getting the mail
Max: Ah, no worries man. That's what siblings are for.
Vex smiles and hugs Max again. Skip to Max going into the bathroom. She gets undressed and steps into the shower, she starts washing herself, grabs the hair soap and rubs it in her hair. Then she rinses it all off and gets out the shower. When she is fully dressed she wipes off the fog on the mirror to reveal that she now has green hair. Flashy green hair.
Max: VEX!!!!!!!!!
Max is enraged. She stomps out the bathroom and into the living room where Claire and Vex are watching TV. Vex starts laughing and Claire looks surprised
Cla: Max, what have you done?
Max steps up to Vex and grabs his shirt
Max: ME? You mean this asshole? Is this your stupid goodbye prank?
Cla: Vex?
Vex: What, no man, I didn't do this. I swear, mom. I had nothing to do with this.
Max: Then how the hell did I just get green hair? Bro I swear this better wash out or I will kill you.
Cla: Vex, look me in the eye
Vex: I swear on dad, I didn't do this.
Cla: Then why is your sisters hair green
Vex: I don't know, she always wanted to dye her hair
Cla: Touche. Max?
Max: WHAT? You think I did this myself? If I wanted to color my hair, IT WOULD NOT BE GREEN!.
Cla: Just, try and wash it out, please
Max: I will.
Max stomps back into the shower and washed her hair with different soap. She gets out and looks in the mirror, still green. Skip to a few washings later, Claire knocks on the door
Cla: Honey? Everything okay?
Max: IT'S NOT COMING OUT.
Max gets out the shower and throws a towel around her. She opens the door.
Max: I washed it six times already, it's not coming off.
Cla: Oh, no. Please, get dressed. If it's not coming off after six times, a seventh won't help.
Max: MOM, LOOK AT ME? School starts in two days.
Cla: I know, I know. We'll go to Tonia tomorrow. Get a flashy haircut to follow with the color?
Max: Seriously?
Cla: Yeah?
Max: ugh
Max closed the door.
