Opening with Neo's perspective.

Neo was looking out the window of the building atop a mountain at the desolate wasteland that surrounded it and the dark red sky above it. Throughout the wasteland were pools of what looked to be black sludge scattered as far as the eye could see. She looked closer at these pools as grimm of all different types began to climb out of each one slowly becoming more and more numerous as time went on. Neo gaged in disgust at the grimm as she felt a hand pat her on the back. Neo turned to see her adopted father Roman Torchick.

Roman: Ah, don't pay any attention to those... things Neo. They're not worth your attention.

Neo nodded turning to the table in the center of the room. Near her and Roman sat Cinder with a patch on her right eye and her right arm that had become blackened. Next to Cinder was a man named Tyrian who had his hair in a long braid and a scorpion tale andinstead of sitting in his seat was crouching on it instead. Across from Cinder sat Watts a man in a suit. Next to Watts was was a more muscular man named Hazel. Roman began to walk up to Watts.

I know the patch is on the left in canon but I'm making it on the right because that's the side of her body that she took the maiden powers with.

Roman: Now then Watts. Have you made any progress on the girl?

Watts: Hmm. Some. Dr. Polendina's machines are typically easy for me to understand but this one I must admit is rather complicated. If we really want to make a weapon out of her then disasembling her is out of the question. It would only take seconds for her body to become like that of an ordinany machines if I did so.

Roman scoffed.

Roman: Do we really need it? That last virus couldn't control her anyway.

Watts scoffed as he turned to Cinder.

Watts: Well thanks to someone not being able to keep their... posse obedient to them and losing the loyalty of the White Fang. We need a little more backup.

Cinder glared at Watts angrily and attempted to speak but she wasn't able to let out more than some small gasps. Neo chuckled at the fact Cinder couldn't speak as she looked at Cinder with a look that seemed to tease her for not being able to. Watts chuckled.

Watts: Oh yes. I forgot now we have two silent types in the group thanks to that little girl that bested you.

Tyrian looked over at Cinder excitedly.

Tyrian: If I were you. I would hunt her down... find her, and... Well... she took your eye, didn't she?

Tyrian began to laugh hysterically as Neo looked away shaking her head annoied. Cinder then looked back over at Watts attempting to speak again but wasn't able to as Neo chuckled at her again.

Watts: Oh pathetic. Why even try?

Roman: No kidding. The only reason I came back was to find Neo and I only brought you with us because that crazy-

Roman stopped as they heard the main door to the room they were all in unlatch. Neo then followed Roman as he led her to their seats. Everyone then waited for a moment as Salem the woman they all worked for walked into the room. Salem had a dark aura present to her as though she swallowed up light as she walked by. Neo wasn't terrified of many things but Salem was something she feared. Salem then made her way to the other end of the room and turned to face everyone.

Salem: Roman... Watts...

Salem then gestured for everyone to sit and with no hesitation Neo and everyone else did. Salem then walked to the seat where she typically sat as she continued.
