Happy new year everybody! Sorry about the delay again. Things should be a little smoother here from now on.

Opening with Weiss' perspective.

Weiss was walking down the hallway toward her father's study with Klein looking to the ground as she tried to bury the grief she had felt for being separated from her team and the fear she felt to face her father knowing their talks often didn't end well. Klein followed close behind looking worried for her.

Whitley: Good afternoon, sister.

Weiss looked up suddenly surprised to see her younger brother Whitley. Whitley then gave a small bow as he continued.

Whitley: A pleasure to see you out of your room for a change.

Klein: Good afternoon young master Whitley.

Weiss despite Whitley attempting to act polite could still feel the sarcasm behind Whitley's words so she scoffed as she walked by him and spoke sarcastically.

Weiss: Hellow, Whitley. You're in a cheery mood today.

Klein seemed to become upset at how Weiss responded to her brother as his eyes turned pink but didn't speak. Whitley seemed to ignore the sarcasm and seemed to keep his cheery mood as he turned around to face Weiss.

Whitley: Klein made crepes for breakfast.

Whitley gestured to Klein who then smiled in a not-so-genuine way.

Klein: I made them as best I could.

Weiss knew that wouldn't be the reason Whitley would be so cheerful so she didn't buy it.

Weiss: What do you want?

Klein's expression became sad again but still didn't speak.

Whitley: I heard Father shouting with someone in his study earlier.

Weiss: Mother?

Whitley: No, she's already drinking in the garden. I think it was a man. I just wanted to warn you. I had heard he had asked to speak with you.

Weiss was slightly more afraid now as she looked to the side nervously. Talks with her father never typically went well but if he was in a bad mood things would likely be even worse.

Weiss: I'll be fine.

Whitley's politeness at that moment shattered a little as some more sarcasm became clear.

Whitley: I know talks with Father are sometimes difficult. Aren't they? But of course, you'll be fine. You're strong, like Winter.

Klein seemed to become even more upset at the situation between the two siblings but still, he didn't speak. Weiss caught the sarcasm easily.

Weiss: You never liked Winter.

Whitley glared at Weiss for a moment but quickly resorted back to his polite smile.

Whitley: True. But you can't deny her resolve.

Weiss crossed her arms and looked firmly at Whitley.

Weiss: What happened to you?

Whitley: Well, I'll have you know I didn't stop growing while you've been away at Beacon.

Whitley then turned around and began walking away.

Whiley: Anyway, good luck with Father.

Weiss didn't respond and simply glared at Whitley as he walked away. Klein then sighed as his eyes turned brown and walked up to Weiss.
