A moment [15]

A few months passed, and as Taehyung became more successful with his basketball passion, I became more popular and well-liked by many online.

Today Taehyung decided to bring me for an ice cream date at the park.

Luckily, today was the only day to spend time together so we're going to make the most of it.

But, after this, he had to go meet his teammates for some stuff.

We were taking a stroll with holding hands, enjoying the view.

One kid was playing with bubbles. The bubble flew to me as I popped it.

"Wait here, I'll be back with ice cream."

I watched my boyfriend walk up to the truck, feeling very lucky with my life lately.

After that successful launch party, I received many compliments on the jewellery. I was so happy to work on it.

Lost in my thoughts, a little girl that looked like 4 years old that was running around fell badly and started bleeding.

I quickly got up from the bench and bend down to her level.

"Omo, you're bleeding badly, where's your mother?" I asked, concerned about her.

"Eomma asked me to play here with the other kids while she shops for groceries... Eonnie, it hurts very much!"

I carried her to the bench, digging out whatever I had in my bag. Thank god there was a bandage in there.

"This will hurt, brace yourself!" I wiped the wound as tears roamed down her cheeks.

"All done! See? You're so brave! What's your name, little one?"

"Eun-a! Thank you, eonnie..." She flashed a cute smile. "I'll be with you until your mother is back, okay? In the meantime, do you want some ice cream?"

She nodded vigorously making me chuckle. Just in time, Taehyung came back with two vanilla ice cream cones.

"Here, you can have mine."

She took the ice cream with her cute hands and ate it happily.

I know I'm supposed to be spending time with Taehyung but, this little girl is too cute not to play with.

And, I love kids. He knows that so it should not be a problem.

[TIME SKIP]

Eun-a finished the ice cream and after that, I played with her for a while.

Taehyung sat on the bench, watching the both of us play with the sand together.

Watching him stare at me, I felt bad that I wasn't spending time with him.

"This is an awesome castle, Eun-a!" I complimented her as she smiled.

"Eun-a! Eun-a!" Someone called out. She and I stood up, wondering who was calling her.

"Eomma!" She ran towards her mother. "Omo, who is this? What did I say about strangers?"

"Eomma, Eonnie helped me with this wound! I fell on accident earlier..." She explained. "It's nothing ma'am, I was just helping this little girl out."

"Thank you so much for taking care of her! Here have this piece of chocolate."

"Ayy, it's nothing ma'am, keep it. Anyways, I'll see you when I see you?" I ruffled her hair and walked to Taehyung

"Boo!" I scared him from his back. "Don't do that!"

"Is my boyfriend scared?" I teased him.

Just as I was about to speak again, I received a phone call from my brother. "Ugh, what does this he want again?" the sentence left my mouth, feeling unbothered to answer it since I was with Taehyung.

He called again and again, "Maybe you should answer it. It may be important..."

"Important? He called me the last time just because he didn't know how to cook something."

Still, I answered the phone call. "Yes, what is it now?"

"Noona! I've been calling you for a while now! Hurry come to the hospital!"

"What? What happened?!"

"Dad fell in the toilet earlier on... He hit his head pretty badly. Come to the hospital and ill explain everything later!"

The moment he said that my heart sank. Worries hit my chest. Is he going to be okay?

I sat on the bench, close to tears.

My breathing became irregular... I placed my hand on my chest, calming myself but it didn't work.

Scared about what was going on with me, Taehyung sat next to me, "Babe, Y/n? what happened? You're scaring me!"

"M-my dad is in the hospital... You go for your meeting I'll be fine." I ran to the nearest taxi available and made it to the hospital.

Sorry for being late on posting! Just came back from travelling a few days ago and things have been hectic since. Started school recently and my stress levels are off the charts!📈

But, it won't ever stop me from doing what I love, writing for you guys!

I have also been working on something new so stay tuned as well.

I won't be posting as much as I used to but I will (try) post 2 or 3 chapters a week.
