I can't believe that idiot is my Boss and moreover I can't believe he is still keeping a grudge about that small accident. Why couldn't I keep calm that day. If only I would have kept quiet that day, all this wouldn't have happened. Also Aiyappa so many people in this world and you chose that arrogant asshole to be my boss. Not fair, not fair.
I didn't saw him for the rest of the day and thank goodness for that. Raj uncle dropped me home and when he asked about his son, I lied through my teeth. Same I did with my family when everyone excitedly gathered around me to enquire about my first day. I lay on my bed exhausted from the day. If I exclude Manik Malhotra, I had a great day at work. I mean the company is great, people are welcoming especially Shivangi, my profile is a plus point too. So, only if any magic happen and Manik is removed from there, I would have a great time working there.
But to my bad luck this will not happen at all. "Come down for dinner Nandu..." I was about to get lost in my dreamland but Amma's voice woke me up. Okay, time to fill your tummy Nandini. I quickly changed into my night dress and picked my phone up to leave when it blinked with a new message.
From Navya Don't make any plans for the weekend, we will be going out.
I smiled at her efforts of reconnecting us. Which I think is great, I do need someone to hang out with and Navya is a sweet soul. I replied back with a sure and wished her goodnight ending the conversation. We had a dinner with a little banter of here and there and after kissing everyone good night, I retired to my bed. Sleep here I come.

Nandini - Good morning Shivangi
Shivangi - Hey morning Nandini, you are early today.
Nandini - Yeah, didn't want to be late on my first day itself also couldn't sleep much because of the nervousness.
Shivangi - No need to be nervous, you already have enough experience, I am sure you will do great. Now go set your cabin and be in his with his tea on time, he hate tardiness.

I smiled at the compliment given to me, soon her floor came and she got down. I wish Shivangi was working on my floor it would be good to have a warming person other than that arrogant boss and his arrogant receptionist. I don't know what problem that girl have with me but she does give me cold looks every now and then.
I stepped out of the elevator to find her sitting on her desk filing her nails. "Good morning..." I wished only to get a eye roll from her and a very cold morning making me scowl even more. I didn't stayed back to make my mood dampen by looking at her egoistic self. The worst part about working here was that on this floor only three people were there, Arrogant Manik, bitchy receptionist, whose name I still don't know and I. Yep, only three people.
