I know all of them were just trying to cheer me up, they were just being good friends but seeing those two couples together, make me more miserable and that's the reason, I avoid hanging out with them.. I know I am being petty, but the need to be with Nandini intensify when I see happy couples.
"Manik..." I saw Cabir shaking my shoulder that brought me out of my trance.
"We are calling you from so long, where you lost Man..." I looked at each one of them who were giving me pitiful looks. I hate to see that in their eyes. I put a hand on my face sighing deeply. "I am sorry guys.. I am so sorry, I am being such an asshole to you all, I just cant help it..."
"We get it Manik, we do..." Mukti rubbed my back hugging me sideways. "Just day before her disapperance I had a word with her and she told me, there is something she need to tell but before that she need to share it with you...Manik, Have any idea what could that be?" Navya asked deep in thoughts.
"No, We were happy, everything was good... Nandini wasn't feeling well from past few days. She went to the doctor that day but I couldn't get the chance to take any update from her and next day she disappeared just like that.. With just a letter, that she is leaving and we all should not look for her... I mean what the hell could have happened suddenly..."
"We will find her Manik..." Abhimanyu smiled at me...
"We will..." I said determined...
"Okay guys leave the sad talks for now and lets go for dinner anyways Manik is leaving tomorrow for few days and I hope you let yourself relax instead of howling, you got me..."
"Yeah yeah Mother Mukti whatever you say..." I mused making her scowl while others laughed at her expense...
