Chapter Fourteen

We waited for what felt like ages for Obi Wan to make his appearance.

"You think they forgot about us?" I questioned while lying on the the floor staring at the ceiling.

"Obi Wan wouldn't forget about us, I know he wouldn't" He said seeming to try to convince himself.

Suddenly I sensed someone approaching. Without hesitation I force jumped into the rafters of the cell, Anakin following my lead. The familiar brown hair of Obi Wan entered the cell a smirk gracing my features. I made eye contact with Anakin giving a wink before I dropped to the floor landing gracefully behind Obi Wan.

"Its about time you showed up" Anakin tutted after he landed next to me.

"We were beginning to think you forgot us" I said my eyes meeting the dark brown gaze of Obi Wan.

"Forget about you two?" Obi Wan raised an eyebrow, "the temple was far too peaceful, we could've never forgotten about the reckless and the bold" Obi Wan smirked giving us a wink and tossing us our respective lightsabers.

I caught my twin blades rolling my eyes in the process, a smile stretching across my face nonetheless.

"Just for the record, you're the reckless one Anakin" I said elbowing him lightly with a chuckle.

"Yeah yeah, whatever. It must be why im always the one getting caught" He said with an eye roll.

"You can make the decisions when you're a master Anakin" Obi Wan said sensing that Anakin was still upset about the whole ordeal.

"How can I become a master if im always getting caught" Anakin scoffed.

"Well, at least you're a master..." Obi Wan began, "at getting caught" he finished with a smirk.

I began hysterically laughing at the look on Anakin's face after receiving Obi Wans sass.

"He got you good Skyguy" I said in between fits of laughter, tears of joy brimming my white eyes. Anakin simply shook his head with a chuckle, Obi Wan patting him on the shoulder.

We made our way through the barren halls, my senses bursting to life as I searched the frigate for Dooku. I beckoned for Obi Wan and Anakin to follow me as I silently approached a singular door. The door opened to reveal none other than Dooku himself. The three of us ignited our sabers ready to fight if warranted.

"Surprise surprise.." Anakin began.

"If it isnt count Dooku" Obi Wan finished Anakin's sentence.

I on the other hand stood silent and emotionless the feelings from Geonosis returning. I felt my fists grip my lightsaber hilts so tight my knuckles turned white. Anakin sensed the shift within me and send me a comforting glance.

"Obi Wan Kenobi, I thought I sensed an unpleasant shift in the force," Dooku said his eyes remaining closed as he sat in a meditative stance, "where would your apprentice be if you weren't there to save him... Although Zephyr needing saved is a surprise" Dooku finished.

I remained still his words not phasing me at all, all I could focus on was the thrumming of the force through my veins. I sensed the Jedi cruiser approaching before I heard the battle droid alert Dooku.

"Sir, there's a Jedi cruiser attacking" the droids voice crackled through his comm.

I could sense Ahsoka, Rex, and Domino aboard the cruiser, then and only then did a smirk break across my sharp features.

"You're surrounded Dooku, republic troops are boarding as we speak" Anakin spoke and I leapt forward just as Dooku dropped through the floor.

I didn't hesitate to jump through the hole after Dooku hearing Anakin and Obi Wan yelling after me. I slid down the shoot after the count seeing him point a hand at me and release force lightning at me. I could feel this energy surrounding me, enveloping me as my eyes began to glow white as if something was taking over. I stuck one hand out absorbing the lightning in my palm, feeling it pulsate through me filling every fiber of my being with energy. I could sense the counts fear growing as we were approaching an opening at the bottom of the shoot. I landed abruptly on a ledge, the count nowhere to be seen. I had two options, go left or go right. I listened to my gut and I chose to go right. In doing so I found myself landing in the main hanger, just in time to see Anakin and Obi Wans ship leaving the hanger.
