Chapter 28: Unexplainable

Thank the Lord for GPS!

I almost got lost about four times, don't ask how because I don't frankly know myself.

But anyway, my shoulder is killing me and I'm nervous out of my mind. I've gone over all the possible outcomes of what could happen when I go there.

I would see the girls first, hopefully they would understand my leaving. Jezabell would be the first one to talk to. I knew her before Delilah so I owe her more.

Than its Luke. I wasn't sure what to say to him exactly. I know for a fact that he is hurt and angry. And if he moved on, as much as I would be hurt, I wouldn't blame him. He deserves to be happy even if I'm not the one causing it.

If he doesnt forgive me, than I'm going to transfer to another school or maybe I can go back to Washington.

My phone rang bringing me out of my thoughts. I hit the speaker button since Im only driving with one hand.

"Hello." I answered.

'Mirror, its Jackson. '

"Hi. Is everything okay, " I was now driving up that leads to the front of the school. The sky beyond the trees were mixed with a dark blue, pink and orange. It was a gorgeous sight.

'Everything is perfect. I was just calling to tell you that when you arrive to the school , go straight to the head masters office. Ms. Kat is waiting for you.'

"She knows? " I asked. The school building came into view.

'She knows most of it. The kidnapping of your father, the fire and how everything ended. Also she knows about your condition. By the way how is the arm?'

"Well right now it hurts from driving with one arm. Thanks you though.' I replied sarcastically.

I heard him chuckle,' Sorry. I have to go. Expect a call from me soon. Good Luck.'

He hung up before I could reply.

I was now parked outside of the school. My shoulder was throbbing and my medication makes me sleepy so I decided not to take it yet. My bag sat in the passenger seat with all my things that i needed to take care of my arm.

Finally after 10 minutes of sitting here, I grabbed my bag and got out the car and walked into the school building.

Like always, the halls were deserted. It wouldn't surprise me if I wasn't the only one dating a teacher here or WAS dating a teacher. Also it was only quarter to 8.

The office had a few staff members in it, working on the computer. I walked over to the front desk, it was a new secretary. She was really young and dorky. Freckles, curly hair, braces and glasses. Probably a student.

"Hi Welcome to Paradise Falls." She was grade A standard nerd. Her voice squeaked.

"Hi. Ms. Kat please. " I replied, leaning my one arm on the counter.

"She's in her office. Let me call her. "

She picked up the phone.

"No its okay," I walked to Ms. Kats door. "She's expecting me."

"Excuse me you can't," I knocked on the door and heard a 'come in'. I smirked at the girl and went into the office before she could say anything.

Ms. Kat was sitting at her desk, working on her computer as well. "Hello Ms. Kat."

I stood by the door.

She looked at me and smiled. Getting up from her chair she walked over and pulled me into a tight hug. Pain erupted on my left side and radiated throughout my other half.
