**Luke Peters**
My body still tingled from the shock sensation that she gave me. That has never happen to me before. Why did this girl create such a feeling that I never knew existed?
But somehow behind her sandy brown eyes a whole other story is hidden.
We walked away from the principal and out the main doors. We have to transfer her luggage into my car since she is unable to take hers. I am holding back the urge to touch her again just to feel if the shock was real as we walked side by side. She kept her head down, only glancing up in the direction of what I'm guessing is her car. We stopped in front of a green camaro. The car made it obvious that she came from a wealthy home, her parents must have amazing job. It doesnt surprise me though now scanning the parking lot, mostly every student had a very expensive vehicle.
The way she looked at the car wasn't with glee, or a cocky expression. To her, it was just a material thing.
She popped open her trunk and just stared at the bags, aftertook out her luggage not even waiting for me to help. She seemed very independent and intelligent, so what was the boarding school for.
I grabbed one of handles to the bag that didn't have wheels and her eyes seemed to ask 'why are you helping me'.
"So Ms.Rose tell me about that car of yours, " I said to change the subject. I knew that if I keep looking at her I would have to fight the urge not to pull her close and press my lips to hers.
"Mirror. Just call me Mirror, "
Her voice was low and attractive, glancing at her she was holding her head down.
"Ok. Mirror," I said for her to hear her name clearly. A smile appeared on her face. It was amazing, then i wondered if she felt what I did when we touched? "Tell me about the car. " I repeated, something to distract me from thinking about her.
She turned her head to glance at the car then shrugged her shoulders. "Oh um it was a gift from my father for my 18th birthday..." She's 18, that little bit of Information made me feel a little better knowing that I wasnt attractive to a minor. My heart started beating faster as if it would leave an imprint on my ribcage. She was still talking, all I could see was her lips moving not listening to a single word.
I didn't even hear the last thing she said, she looked at the car, more like a glare.
"Uh what the last part? " I asked, embarrassed by not paying attention.
She shook her head then repeated herself," I said it was also supposed to be a 'forgiven' present for him not being there on my actually birthday but I really didn't care . It was nothing new. " She mumbled.
Her facial express changed immediately when she looked in my direction and noticed I was looking at her. That one emotion covered under an emotionless feature. She was very good at covering her emotions but I felt like I NEEDED to uncover what she held in so bad.
We walked silently to my vehicle, or the one I'm using to get to the airport with. It was a black Mustang with white trim along the doors.
"This is the car," I spoke when we approached the Mustang.
"This is your car?" I led her to the trunk and opened it with one button on my key chain.
"No it's just a rental I'm using until we fly back."The trunk was empty, I placed all her luggage in then taking the one she carried in her hand. As I took the bag, my hand lightly brushed hers, I felt the shocks from before. Her mouth parted open as the luggage fell from our hands and hit the ground. She curled her fingers into a fist and put her hand back to her side.
"I'm so sorry," After a few seconds, she bent down to retrieve the bag.
I immediately did the same, "No let me get that. "
We both reached for the luggage, our hands gripping the same handle but this time we didn't touch. As we were kneeling down on the same level, we both frozed and our eyes locked when we looked up at one another.
Our faces were just centimeters away and our lips would be touching. My eyes started to close, something coming over me like never before. Right before mine fully closed, I saw hers do the same.
Finally at last when it seemed like it was forever waiting our lips brushed against one anothers. My mind went on a journey only to be filled with great pleasure. Her lips were so soft, just from a light feather kiss. I never want this moment to end. Just as I was about to push further, the present of her lips were gone.
"Uh no," Mirror was the first to pull away. Her face mirrored someone after they saw a ghost. Her hands clasped over her mouth and she stood to her full height. For a girl, she was taller than most.
I stood up as well, wr both still held the bag with one hand. No words came to mind, it was still clouded with the image that only happened a few seconds ago.
"Im so sorry. I didn't mean to..It was an accident ..," she dropped her hand that was holding her bag and backed away slowly.
"Mirror please don't be sorry," I reached out to grab her hand but she pulled away from me. It seemed like when I blinked and opened my eyes, all I saw was her back running towards the school main doors.
I didn't know what to do, I didn't want her to run away. I need to know if she felt the same way. I understand that it may be happening a little fast but it was like magic , something I wanted to feel from a woman but never have. And now the one who has it doesn't want it.
I closed the trunk after loading Mirror's luggage inside and then started my way towards the school.
Mirror was standing with Principal Flatt when I walked in the school. I couldn't make out what they were saying, but I wasn't really focused on what they were saying. Coming up to Principal Flatt, Mirror walked away to sit in a lounge chair.
"Principal Flatt the car is loaded. We are able to leave whenever Ms. Rose is ready," I turned away from the principal and glanced over to Mirror's direction, she was holding a small device. Her facial expression looked rather hurt and heart broken as she scanned the screen of now I see as a phone. What is it about this girl that has me so intrigued to understand what's taunting her?
