Willow couldn't tell what was making Pax uneasy, but something was off in that mind of his, growing up together, she had always known when his laundry got too dirty, so to speak. ''So you think the Solar's coming back now has something to do with you? That's pretty vain don't ya think?'' His glare suggests this isn't a time for jokes, which isn't like him at all, meanwhile he was trying to figure out what she meant by Solar Vampire.
Willow changed her approach. ''Ok, so where do we-'' Her question was cut off by the door being thrown open and Alfie rushing in, slamming it behind him.
''Jesus dear, what on Earth is the matter?'' Angela came scuffling from the other room at the commotion.
''Shhh! I was followed...'' Alfie was not a quiet man, when he whispered, it was something serious. They all crouched and headed for the nearest windows. There was no time to ask who was following him, but the scent that was absorbed by everyone's nose was a good indicator. There was a Vamp outside, the only good thing about this fact was the moon high over head, it's a Lunar Vamp, the more tame of the species.
Before any of them could realise or stop it, Pax was up and out the door, calling through the air, at the spectator. Along with his parents, Willow jumped up after him, staying just inside the doorway; being certain that no one would invite it inside.
Tristan, holding his hands up, left the hidden depths of the trees, facing the boy he'd had in his tree house only hours before. The look on Pax's face shifted through a few emotions and settled on annoyed.
''What do you want?'' He called out. Tristan, hands still up, asked if the Wolf was okay; considering he had a pretty nasty tumble earlier. Pax merely raised an eyebrow, losing his patience. This boy was still a stranger, even if he had essentially helped save Kyler.
''I just wanted to ask if you'd talk to Kyler with me, he blames me for you getting hurt and since it wasn't exactly my fault you fell out the tree-''
''You fell out of a tree?!'' Alfie had taken note of that part, Pax rolled his eyes and put his focus back on the Vamp.
''Why do you care what Kyler thinks about you?'' Pax was growing suspicious, Kyler had never mentioned a Vampire and yet this one seemed to be on a first name basis with him. Tristan put his arms down, growing tired of this mutt.
''Look, I just want my friend back, it's bad enough he's spending all his time with some mystery Wolf boyfriend, I...'' The pain that was surrounding Tristan's eyes suddenly disappeared as a dawn of realisation came across both the boys alike. ''You're... Kyler's Wolf boyfriend... aren't you?'' Defeat was now the only thing on Tristan's face.
Thoughts swirled through Pax's mind, all this time had Ky really been buddy with a Vamp? Willow came forward, putting her arm around Pax, he shrugged it off and went back inside. Turning back to Tristan, Willow was now the only one outside with him.
''You should go.'' She spoke lightly, not letting him reply, following the others inside and closing the door behind them; leaving Tristan outside to ponder, what on Earth just happened.
