Back at the Solar camp there were preparations to be made, their plan had gone the opposite way as hoped and it was now time to pull out all the stops. Lenora had planned to see Lilith, to apologize for hurting Tristan, even though she had no choice, she had no idea how they would have hurt Lilith had Lenora not gone ahead with biting the boy.

Pan was the first one to find Lilith not where they had left her. His eyes widened as he feared to tell Shade they had lost the seer.

Shade wasn't happy, not only had they lost their only advantage, but now they had no loyalty from Lenora if she were to know.

''Whatever happens, don't let Lenora know that the Lunar is gone.'' Shade had growled at Pan with how angry he was.

Pan watched as Shade left him to guard the underground hovel that Lilith had been kept, he couldn't leave this spot for Lenora could come at any time.

When Lenora did happen by she was surprised to be greeted by Pan, he'd always said he never wanted anything to do with the Lunar scum especially those who could see, they made him uncomfortable.

She was even more surprised to find Pan blocking her way. ''I'm here to see Lilith, can you move?'' Pan ignored her, acting as though he didn't hear her.

Lenora tried to walk around him and Pan blocked her way again, Lenora grabbed Pan by the shoulders and pinned him to the wall.

''Why are you blocking me?!'' Lenora was growing angry and suspicious, Pan remained silent.

Holding him in place gave Lenora a chance to run down the stairs where she found the site empty. ''Where is she?!'' Lenora was threatening Pan now, a fireball had appeared in her hand.

''Woah! I don't know, okay? I don't know! Shade just told me to not let you down here.'' Pan was stammering, blubbering for his unlife.

Lenora was hurt, ''Shade knew about this? Of course, I should've known he'd always be a manipulative bastard!'' Anger took over in her eyes and she sped out of the underground and left the camp.

She was done with the Solar's and all their selfish motives. She regretted now, more than anything, that she had hurt her brother and bitten a human for nothing.

Maybe she was becoming a monster.

Lost in her thoughts, she almost didn't hear the crying, coming from deep east of where she was heading. Changing path, she grew curious who was out here with her.

Poking her head past the tree, sat a boy she was all too familiar with. Guilt poured into her heart at this moment, reminding her she had one. Doubt fell to the pit of her stomach as she swallowed it and approached the, once human, boy.

''Hi, how are you doing?'' Sitting gently next to him, she held her hands together, hoping he wouldn't be frightened by her sudden appearance.

Kyler was less than enthused at this visitor, but she might be the only one to understand what was happening. After all, she was also a Solar.

His face lay expressionless, a new pro of Vampirism apparently, Lenora expected nothing but grief from this boy, yet he stayed, wanting answers.

''Are we all really doomed to become evil monsters?'' With a lilt of pain in his voice, the only giveaway of his hurt, stabbing through Lenora's gut. Her eyes darted to his, he allowed her gaze as she thought.

With a quick shake of her head, she found the words. ''I don't think so, I worried about it for a long time, but I never wanted to hurt anyone, I gained no joy from it. I just didn't want them hurting Lilith, so I did as they ordered. Not that I'm excusing what I've done to you, I'm sorry I can never take that back.''

Lenora reached out her hand, gliding it along the soil. Kyler flinched before taking it, feeling an unfamiliar bond. ''Damnit Solar connection.'' He was surprised when Lenora laughed.

''Yeah, you'll get used to the weird, familial, Vampire bond, thing.'' Kyler's face dropped, leaving his mouth hanging open, just a little, from shock. It only took him a second to remember the telekinetic thing, that he knew, both the Werewolves and Vampires were blessed (or cursed) with.

The space surrounding the pair fell silent, leaves dropping around them as they fell from the tops of the tree branches. Kyler found himself getting dizzy, a smell of something, he couldn't quite describe, infiltrated his senses, causing his eyes to sting.

''Pax is looking for you.'' Lenora stated, bluntly, her eyes focused on the direction the stench was coming from, Kyler noticed.

Shooting to his feet, Kyler's (now unlife) flashed before his eyes. "WHAT! But, he can't, it's not safe out here!" With breath stuck in his chest, it would take a while to get used to the not breathing thing, Kyler's gaze remained on the trees, waiting for his idiot boyfriend to emerge and tell him everything would be alright.
