4: Here's the plan

There's tears in my eyes as I look around at what I can see so far. I pull them each into a group hug "thank you guys so much for helping me when you don't have to. It looks great Lily."

"Of course that's what friends are for," She smiles.

James pulls away with his hand on his heart and false shock. "What makes you think Lily decorated?" Remus just rolls his eyes as we chuckle. "Yeah sweetheart, what makes you think it wasn't James?" Lily and I share a look. "I'm sorry James, you did a wonderful job decorating everything." He gives me a big grin and we all move to the kitchen and dining room. "Have my books arrived yet?" Remus nods in reply "arrived just before you got here."

"I'm cooking dinner for all of you. Sirius already claimed a roast." I take out my wand and enlarge my backpack, sending all its contents where they need to go but leaving the brooms and setting up my owl in the sitting room. I then summon 'A Witches guide to wonderful meals' and turn to the section of the roast. I follow the recipe and flick my wand as the ingredients come together, finishing up prep quickly before popping it in the oven for an hour and a half, then I get started on the mash potatoes. All the recipes were beginner friendly so everything still had to be cooked or put in the oven. I loved that prep was cut in half.

Joining the others in the dining room once I was done, I sat between Sirius and Remus. "All right guys I have another thank you gift." I pull out and enlarge the three brooms and quidditch set and set it in front of them before handing Lily a certificate for a spa day. They tried to protest but I stopped them. "No really guys, thank you. You could've just left me on the street or kicked me to the road because you thought I was crazy when I started talking about how I arrived. You didn't, and because of that I feel like I owe you thanks."

"Thank you, Y/N. We really appreciate this." Lily smiles. "Yes we can play quidditch again since you have a big yard!" James and Sirius both stand and start doing their happy dance causing us all to laugh. "Let me set up my wards first so when we finish you can teach me how to fly then play." The two were vibrating with excitement, hardly containing themselves. "I'll help you out N/N." Lily stands pulling out her wand. "I'll help as well." Remus adds.

We all head outside and I give them all the wards I'm going to add before we each head to a different point of the property to quicken the process. We cast protection, muggle repellent, concealment, breach alarms, identification charm, anti polyjuice charms, and anti animagus. I keyed James and Sirius so they could still transform just in case they wanted to stretch their legs. Once we finished, dinner was ready so we headed back inside. James and Sirius had already set the table so I set up a pot of tea and pulled the roast out of the oven, charming the pot of mash potatoes to follow and set them both on the table.

Once the tea was ready we all sat down making our plates and pouring our drinks. "This is really good Y/N." Sirius says with a moan that causes me to blush as he takes two more bites. "Yes I agree, you did a wonderful job." Remus adds.

We all eat in silence for a while, just enjoying the food. Once our plates were cleared I sent the dishes to be washed and put away before clearing my throat. "Alright guys, here's my plan so far. There are currently five horcruxes." James goes to ask a question but I continue to explain, "A horcrux is a super dark item that's made by willingly killing someone and doing a ritual to put the ripped piece of their soul into a vessel. As long as they have the vessel they can come back to life if they die. It can only be destroyed by basilisk venom or fiendfire." They all looked a little worried "And he has five of them?" Remus asks. "Yes. He's going for the magic number 7." They all pale, looking ready to faint.

"Each of the five are hidden. The Gaunt ring is in Little Hangleton, his diary is with the malfoys, Helga Hufflepuffs goblet is in the Lestrange vault, Slytherin's locket is in a cave, and Ravenclaw's lost Diadem is at Hogwarts."
