I wake to my phone alarm going off. Sirius groans next to me and pulls the blanket over his face. "Come on. If you get ready I'll make you breakfast." Sirius just groaned again in reply as I got up and moved to the bathroom. I do my morning routine before going to my closet and picking my outfit for the day. I decided on a flowy bell sleeved top and blue jeans.
Once I was dressed and ready Sirius went into the bathroom after me. The pool guys say they would be here around six to get an early start, so I went downstairs to start breakfast. I just made simple pancakes, eggs, and bacon. Setting Sirius' plate on the table, the floo activated and James rushed through. "Is Sirius here? He wasn't at his flat." I nod and offer to make James a plate. "Yes he's here. He wanted to be with me because he didn't like how Peter was eyeing me last night. I didn't like it either to be honest." James takes a seat at the table and I serve him his plate.
He wiggles his eyebrows at me when I set it in front of him. "Oh he spent the night huh?" I push James away and shake my head. "It wasn't even like that James." He picks up his fork and starts cutting up his pancakes and draws out a long "mhm." Sirius finally comes down the stairs and takes a seat with a yawn. "Morning Prongs, what brings you here?"
"I had to make sure you were awake. Don't need you sleeping in on the first day. Moody wouldn't let you survive training." Sirius looks at me and nods. "It's true. The man is a bloody psycho." We all eat in silence for a bit just enjoying each other's company and clearing our plates.
"Does Peter always wear long sleeves?" I ask taking the final bite of my food then wash it down with juice. James ruffles his hair and sighs, before crossing his arms. "Sometimes but not usually no." I bite my thumb nail for a second then stand to clear the plates. "Allow me sweetheart." Sirius flicks his wand and the plates fly to the sink and get washed with the other pans. I give him a grateful smile. "Well I don't want to be the bearer of bad news, but he may be covering a dark mark. There's no way to cover it magically or the muggle way besides clothing."
They are both silent for a bit so I look at the time. "Let's keep an eye on him for a bit until we can be certain. You guys should be going, it's five fortyfive." I walk them to the floo and give them both hugs. "Good luck guys." They hug me back before grabbing a handful of floo powder. "We'll see you when we're done sweetheart. Ministry of Magic!"
They disappear into the flames as my doorbell rings. I open it and welcome the pool construction men in and they go right into the back yard. "I'm making you guys wings for lunch, are there any preferred favors?" They all agree on barbecue before they get started.

It was one thirty and I had just finished saucing the wings and pulling the fry's out of the oven when the boys came through the floo and into the kitchen. "Smells lovely darling. What did you make?" Sirius peeks over my shoulder, placing one of his hands on my waist causing me to blush at how close he had gotten as I'm making all the plates. "Why so many plates? Are the others coming?" I looked up at Sirius with a playful frown. "Darling?" I questioned. He just shrugged his shoulders with a smile.
I transfigured their clothes into muggle workout gear since they were a bit sweaty as the construction guys entered the room. "It's for them. I paid them extra to finish my pool as quickly as possible but I make them take a lunch break and make them food for working so hard." Sirius vibrates with excitement when he hears they are with a pool building company. "You're getting a pool?" I chuckle at his excitement as the workers all grab a plate and take a seat at the table. "Thank you miss." I wave off the thanks and give the boys their own plate. "It's no problem, I know I pushed the timing so it's the least I could do."
