Five years later

Since Dumbledore's kiss five years ago, Lily and I have worked hard on getting outdated laws he signed off on, corrected. The group started by fighting the ministry for werewolf rights and we built a group home for werewolves that needed a place to stay as well as fighting for their right to work and for accommodations to be made when it came time for the full moon.

Remus was happy to help run the group homes and sort of became an alpha even though he refused to be called that. He kept the place from falling apart. Then we fought for werewolves to have the right to visit the hospital. That one took time but we finally managed to get it to happen. When wolfsbane finally hit the shelves and Remus found out, he was as happy as he could be, but still funded the research for a full cure and even volunteered to help.

Lily and James had Harry right on time three years ago and are pregnant with their second child and the same went for Alice and Frank having Neville but still no second child in sight.

The Malfoy's had Draco on time as well. Lucius Malfoy surprisingly wasn't as evil as depicted in the books and movies and was forced to be a death eater by his father and had become miserable due to the mark on his arm, so since he didn't commit any crimes he only had magic and visitation restrictions as well as house arrest for five years which ends in a few weeks because he harbored active death eaters in his home.

I managed to connect with the Malfoys and helped Andromeda reconnect with her sister and they helped me decide that I wanted to help those affected by the war. So, I created therapy for the wizarding world. They never heard of it, so to prove it worked, I worked with death eaters that wished to be redeemed and agreed to go through the therapy as they finished their updated muggle world courses and notate their experiences at the exposure. I'd assist them in any way, whether it was going with them to the muggle world or helping incorporate muggle items into their homes.

As a reward when they finished, I would remove their dark marks. Some, of course, truly believed in Dumbledore's twisted ways and some couldn't believe he was the man to be behind the whole thing, but that is why I love modern devices. There was no way to deny it.

My book was still a popular seller, but I didn't know how people could enjoy reading about others' lives like that. All money I made from the book went to the werewolf foundation, Hogwarts, small businesses, and helping fund the magical being department.

Regulus took on as head of the Black household, removing his mother and father from the title of the Black name leaving them with no names. He then worked on redeeming the Black name, making it better. He says he won't marry but Sirius tells me about the Slytherin girl, Selena, that was in his year that he had fancied and still talked to.

Since Tom Riddle was innocent due to being under the imperius curse for 38 years, all charges made against him and his actions were cleared and he became known as the 'the boy who had no choice' instead of 'you know who'.

Peter received a light sentence since he was only an informant and tried to switch sides during the battle, but there was no mending his wrongs after telling them why he did it to the boys, so they no longer called him a friend.

The six of us received an order of Merlin, first class, which we tried to deny but the ministry insisted along with award money we didn't want. Lily and I donated it to fund an upcoming department for elf rights, and the ministry has also been pestering either Lily or me to take up the mantle as minister (desperate much?) but we just couldn't commit to that responsibility and denied them every time as we suggested others that were better qualified for that position.
