Into the Wizarding World (Sirius Black x Reader)

11: The Cave

So, they all took a picture of Sirius and I cuddling in my bed while we slept. Lily sent me the picture without me asking, and something possessed me into making it my lock screen. Maybe I really am falling in love with Sirius.

It was now September first, I sent a letter out to Regulus telling him to send an owl as soon as his Lord leaves with Kreature and to make sure his parents are distracted long enough for me to sneak in so I could leave with him when Kreature returns. He doesn't send a reply, which is fine since I didn't expect one. He didn't send one last time.

In the meantime I prepare, packing water, first aid potion kit, and and few hairspray cans and lighters just in case the inferni wanted to tussle. I didn't receive a reply until wednesday September 20th that said a simple, 'All clear.' I sent Lily a message telling her what I was doing since the boys were still at training and Remus was working at his new job, before I apparate to number 12 Grimmauld place. The movies got the building pretty spot on, and Regulus was waiting outside for me. He looks me up and down, "Let's hurry in. Mother and father just left to run some errands so who knows how long that will take, but I have no idea how long until the dark lord returns." He leaves the door open behind him and I rush in and close it behind me. He leads me up the stairs and to his room. "You'll wait here until he leaves again."

I walk into his room and take a look around. There's a big bookshelf filled to the brim on the far side of his room. His bed covers and drapes were a dark velvet looking green. His side tables also had books stacked high, "if you're done looking, I'd like for you to tell me who the hell you are and how you knew this would happen." I took a seat on his bed and looked up at him, he was frowning with his arms crossed at his chest." I cast privacy spells to be safe. "No one is near to listen dumbass," he rolls his eyes.

"You never know who's secretly listening. I will take every precaution to stay safe." He sighs and jesters to begin. "I'm from an alternate universe, one where there's a book series about James and Lily potter's son Harry who goes to Hogwarts and eventually defeats your Dark Lord by finding and destroying all seven Horcruxes. He loses friends, and the little family he had to the war."

"I'm supposed to believe you are from another universe?" He scoffs. I shake my head, "you don't have to, but one minute Harry Potter is my favorite series and I'm enjoying time at a theme park with my best friend, and the next said best friend makes me drink a vial and casts an enchantment sending me here to the first war." I give him a look and cross my arms, "I want to help you survive. If I didn't tell you about this and demand to go with you, you would die alone in that cave. Sirius won't know that you died until a year later, and he's heart broken."

"Does he know?"

I shake my head, "He knows. I told him everything that happens, but he doesn't know I'm with you now, ready to steal a Horcrux from the cave." Regulus takes a seat next to me and stares off. "When we get back, I have two more things for you. A mission if you accept, and an offer. Just send the message when you're ready to hear what it is."

We both sit in silence for a while before he replies, "what's the offer?" I look at him and he's looking back at me. "Protection, a real family, and I believe I'll be able to remove your mark." He places his right hand over the mark with a strong grip. "That's not possible," he growls. "I'll make it possible, I believe I'm close. I just need to scan the mark to see what exactly I'm working with."

"And the mission?"

"Switch out the cursed diary that's protected by Lucius with a decoy. It's either in his study or in the library." There's a knock at the front door before he can reply. He gives me a look to stay in the room and goes to the front door. I decided to try to listen since I didn't want to face Voldemort quite yet but couldn't hear anything from where I was. He isn't gone long before he returns. "You're right Kreature wasn't with him," He panics. "Calm down and call him back."
