Happy First Frost

If there's one thing in Berry Bitty City that brings a smile to my face, it's the traditions. I'm what's considered a newbie in Berry Bitty City, so I'm not accustomed to certain traditions held here. An example is BerryFest, another is the Buggy Derby, and then there's First Frost Day. From the sound of it, First Frost Day sounds similar to another holiday I've practiced on Earth. I've forgotten what the name of the holiday is, but I can't blame myself. I'm growing more distant from my old home day after day. In my case, that's not necessarily a bad thing. I haven't been honest with the girls about why I'm not so eager to get back. I don't feel like it'd be appropriate to talk about certain subjects in a friendly show like this. To keep this show as clean as it can be, all I'll say is, there was a certain parental figure in my family who was cruel. That's all I'm going to say about that.

Sorry.  :/

Back to more festive matters, I can't wait to see what this First Frost Day has in store for me, as I enter the Berry Bitty Cafe.

Strawberry: DUCK!

I gasp as Strawberry MASHES a bowl of what is now applesauce, with her trusty apple hammer.

Strawberry: And we have applesauce!

Luckily, Strawberry is wearing goggles, otherwise her face would've been dripping in lumpy applesauce.

Me: Strawberry, what are you doing?

I approach the crime scene as Strawberry takes off her goggles.

Strawberry: Well, I'm trying to make applesauce, but the process is a lot more messier than you'd imagine.

Me: And you don't have a better way to mash apples? Surely you don't need to demolish them like that, you psycho.

Strawberry: Oh, psycho, huh? Is that right? Well, don't you think I would've done it in a better way, had I found one?

I take a wooden spoon and fill it with applesauce.

Me: Try it.

Strawberry: I will.

She puts her tongue on it and immediately retracts the spoon.

Strawberry: Too lumpy.

Me: See? No one likes lumpy applesauce.

Strawberry: But I don't have a better way, jerkface.

Me: [sighs] I didn't mean it like that, Strawberry. Who knows? Maybe on this First Frost, you might get a better way.

Strawberry: [smiles] That would be berry helpful.

Raspberry sees me with Strawberry and begins to frown. She looks back down at her wrapping paper and dawns that bubbly smile again, thinking of the perfect gift to give me.

But I don't know what the gift is. Strawberry looks down at the other girls, helping with the decorations.

Strawberry: Anyone want a taste?

Lemon: In a second, Strawberry. I've got one more bow to curl.

Although, it seems as though Lemon has curled herself.
