The reds, oranges, and yellows lit up the sky. I pulled Tessarion's reins to the right, swerving around the dragon fire. Syrax twirled through the air as I heard Rhaenrya laughing.

"You maniac!" I shouted at her. I maneuvered Tessarion to follow her over King's Landing. We soared as close as we dared to the rooftops, hollering and laughing. I looked over the side of Tessarion, and saw the people pointing at us, and shouting. I decided to put on a little show for them. I pulled us higher into the air, and shouted, "Pālegon". Tessarion started to spin in the air, flipping us over and over again. I raised us even higher and looked over at Rhaenrya, who had begun doing the same thing. My grip on the reins stayed firm as we barreled through the sky, heading towards the dragon pit.

The dragon pit grew as we flew closer, and I pulled Tessarion out of the barrel roll. The dragon keepers were walking around the landing square, waiting for one of us to land.

I patted Tessarion's side before taking a step back to give him space to turn.

"Take good care of him."

"Of course, Princess." I smiled at the keeper, and made my way to the carriage. I sat down on the third step, waiting for Rhaenyra. She landed her dragon a minute later, and walked over to where I was waiting for her.

"Did you enjoy our ride today, Princess?" Rhaenrya asked me.

"It was very enjoyable, Princess. Except from the fact I almost got burned alive by your dragon. Good thing I have excellent reflexes." Rhaenyra sat down on a step above me, and began to play with my hair.

"I envy your reflexes, Princess." Rhaenrya began to braid my hair.

"The people of King's Landing were watching us. We must have been a pretty sight."

"Yes, especially with the sunset." I leaned against her as she finished braiding my hair.

"Yes, the sunset will have added to the visual appeal of us flipping over King's Landing." I laughed a little, my eyes going to hers. I pushed myself up of my step, and pressed my lips to hers. I pulled away, and looked into her brown eyes.

"I'm so sorry." I hurriedly got up, and started walking away.

"Y/n, wait!" Rhaenrya called after me. I slowed my walking, and I heard her footsteps come closer. I turned to look at her.

"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have done that. It was improper, and impractical, and not righ-." She cut me off by kissing me. My hands immediately went to her neck, pulling her closer to me. She pulled away, and smiled at me.

"I thought you were never going to stop talking." I stared in shock at her.

"What does this mean?" I asked softly. Rhaenrya cupped my cheek with her hand.

"It means I am yours, and you are mine." I smiled even bigger, and kissed her again.

"My mother is going to kill me." I looked away from Rhaenrya and up at the sky. The sunset had mostly gone, except for a few tinges of red and orange.

"It's still so pretty." I stated, looking back down to Rhaenrya.

"As are you, even with the impending threat of Alicent finding out, even though she will never know."
