Story type: Character X Character.

Window slipped on the window, making the glass do a disturbing noise. His glowing smile, full of joy and something hidden, stared into the room.

Shadow turned around with relief, knowing that it was no one other than Window. They smiled at their friend and opened the window, letting the smiling entity in. After that Shadow quickly closed the window again.

-Do you remember the one-eyed humanoid guy? The goopy one. - Window suspiciously giggled.

-I do. Why'd you ask? - Shadow crossed their silhouette-looking arms.

-I heard he likes to read fairytales and that he's allergic to garlic! - Window chuckled as he moved closer to Shadow.

-How nice. Is there anything funny in it? - Shadow glazed at Window.

-No, I'm just telling you all I've heard. - Window sighed and looked into the window. - I mean, I have seen you always escape anyone's looks, so that if they see you, they see only a silhouette of yours. You're being very hideous. - Window looked at Shadow again. - I thought it could be interesting for you to learn about everyone else in this hotel.

-That's...Sweet, Window. -Shadow giggled, as they stared at their friend. - Then tell me more. I've only heard their names, and even then, only a few times. I communicate only with Guiding Light, Glitch...And you.

-But why? - Window curiously looked at Shadow. - Why won't you try?

-Guiding Light says it's better not to. - Shadow sighed and lied on the wall. - He says my appearance affects others in a bad way. I don't know how, but I have seen humans freak out just because they saw my silhoutte.

-I mean, humans are humans. They're scaredy cats! -Window laughed, yet then looked at his friend with worry again. - But why don't you affect me and Guiding Light, and Glitch too?

-Guiding Light said you're an exception. - Shadow glazed on the ceiling. - And Guiding Light and Glitch...They do not really have a tough body, they're more like ghosts, flying auras, which can affect someone's mind.

-I see. - Window looked on the ground.

The silence awkwardly crawled in, making both of them feel quite uncomfortable. Shadow sighed and sat on the ground, feeling their friend's stare.

-But hey, let's get back to the topic! - Window smiled. - That one-eyed entity's name is Seek. He chases humans through halls.

-Chases? - Shadow stared back at Window.

-Mhm! Then there's Rush! He's like a huge flying head with a strange aura appearing after him. - Window giggled. - He looks like a dark grey skull, he rushes through the room a few seconds after the lights flicker. He makes a loud noise, so humans still have a chance to hide in a closet. He breaks the lights when he rushes through the room though.

-I feel bad for the lights then. - Shadow laughed.

-Then there's Ambush! He has a different noise, a high-pitched one. - Window moved closer to Shadow. - He's faster and he goes through the room multiple times. The human has to go in and out of the closet during the pause.
