Story type: Character X Character, fluff

Figure roamed around his library, trying to find the books, which the player dropped.

With his every step, the ground shook and the books on the ground would slightly jump into the air. It helped the Figure to find them, though not all of the books.

He groaned as he continued walking around the library, trying to find books. He needed to place them all in their place. He needed to. And if another human dares to enter this room, he'll need to confiscate their life.

Suddenly, something knocked on the door.

Figure turned his head to the closed entrance. The knock wasn't too intensive, no, someone knocked the door just three times - gently and respectfully, without opening the door instantly and without starting a whole door knocking concert.

Figure walked closer to the door. He groaned and placed his hand on the door, trying to figure out who would it be. He wasn't in the best mood, so he felt like he can kill almost anybody.

-My apologies, but may I enter? - A voice outside the door sounded, quite familiar for Figure.

Figure growled, though the growl sounded friendly. Just a few minutes ago he was ready to take a bite of anyone's head, and now it's calmer and happier with sudden guest's appearance. He knows who is that.

Figure gently knocked the door in answer and walked back a few steps.

The guest opened the doors.

Now you could see another tall entity in color of pure black, as if they were made out of ink. The entity had only one eye on their head and you already could tell who was that.

Seek.

-Greetings, Figure, how have you been doing? - Seek asked, making a step forward.

Figure quietly growled and turned his head to library. No matter how hard Figure would try, the library would still be a whole mess, especially by the fact that sometimes Figure itself would break things. Was it his mental breakdowns or phases of boredom, no soul knows.

-Ah, I see. A big mess, indeed. - Seek crossed his arms, while his eye rated the room with a serious look, though there was some curiousity. - I am able to help, if you're okay with that. So, may I?

The Figure didn't answer at first. It stood in same position, almost without any moves at all. Then, he moved as if he woke up from a sleep.

Figure slightly nodded, but it was enough for Seek to understand. Seek giggled and closed the doors, so no one will disturb Figure at least for some time.

-Here we go. - The one-eyed entity mumbled.

As they finished with the books, Seek carefully grabbed a book and sat on the old couch. His eye stared at the books, reading a word after a word. It was just another fairytale.

Suddenly, Figure's arms gently wrapped around the one-eyed entity. It didn't care if Seek was a covered by goop, Figure simply tried to touch him to understand where is he.

-Are you okay there, bud? - Seek lovingly touched one of the Figure's arms.

The Figure growled, making the cuddles only tighter. Seek chuckled and closed the book, forgetting at which page he was.

Seek lied his head at the back of the couch, listening to Figure's quiet growls and purrs. It was a nice atmosphere to relax: a smell of paper and books, quiet rain and nice sounds from Figure, a comfortable library.

-No need to worry, we still have a lot of work to do...- Seek yawned. - We need to get rid of the dust and fix those two cupboards...

Seek tried to stand up, but Figure didn't let him go. It tried to prevent Seek from anything that can waste a lot of energy.

-Figure. Let me go. - The voice of one-eyed entity echoed through the library. Seek took a deep breath and spoke again, now with a calmer voice. - Fine, maybe just a little bit.

Figure made some weird happy noises, but Seek didn't mind it. Well of course he didn't, he adored his friend's company but didn't want to show it.

And, indeed, Figure also loved Seek. Maybe because they were the (almost)oldest in the hotel, maybe because they were the not too old adults, but they knew something. They knew something no soul should know. And they kept it as a secret, both of them, together.

Figure lied his head on Seek's shoulder, only to get a sweet and gentle kiss. He purred once again, trying to show his love towards Seek. Gladly, Figure was blind, so he couldn't see how Seek colored red, almost like blood.

-Oh, Devil... - Seek whispered when Figure fell asleep. - Why didn't he kill the Cupid... - He chuckled and lovingly kissed the taller entity again.
