Story type: Special!

Warning: Blood.

Tallishi sat on the ground, groaning from the pain. She should go and check on Amethyst, but the bite from that small creature with such an ugley face and tentacles...it hurt a lot. It also was bleeding.

She stood up, trying to focus the pressure only on one of her legs, as she tried to get out of the room. These eyes were making her panic, even though Amethyst liked them. No, she's not going to waste her time, she won't spend even a second here.

She got out of the room, only to find another one full of even more eyes. The amount of eyes looking at her...She could hear her own heartbeat echoing through her ears. Tallishi tried to make a step, but she collapsed.

Her leg was bleeding, and if an infection gets in...well then it wouldn't be really good.

Tallishi? — Amethyst's voice sounded behind her. — You're hurt!

—I'm alright... — Tallishi tried to smile at the child, but the eyes, they were everywhere, and she needed to get out.We need to go.

—You're hurt! — Amethyst rushed to the older girl, as she took off her cape.

What are you.. — Tallishi watched in shock as Amethyst ripped off her own cape and started wrapping it around older's leg as if it was a bandage. — Didn't you just growl at me earlier because I've touched your cape?

—Didn't you just save me multiple times earlier? — Amethyst rolled her eyes and used the other part of the cape to cover Tallishi's head. — They don't see you.

—But I also don't see anything?.. — Tallishi freaked out, as she thought that the eyes were still looking at her and she looked like an absolute mess in front of them. No, I don't need to-

—You do, now let's go. — Amethyst grabbed Tallishi's hand.

They both walked out of a few rooms, only to find themselves in a corridor once again. Amethyst sat on the ground, forcing Tallishi to sit with her.

Never thought you would actually act like a grown adult, and not like a sneaky child. — Tallishi chuckled, as she caught an annoyed glaze of the child.

—Not funny! — Amethyst crossed her arms, but then instantly shook. — Ow.

—Oh, so instead of trying to help yourself you helped me? — Tallishi stared at the younger's injury with disappointment.

The older girl took the already ruined cape off her head, as she noticed a huge golden coin connected to the cape with an eye on it. She wanted to touch it, since it was just a drawing, but the eye's orb moved.

Tallishi was surprised by the strange coin, but still ripped a part of the cape, just to wrap it around Amethyst's elbow, no matter how much did she complain.

Here, now it doesn't bleed too much, right? — Tallishi tried to smile, but she was quite tired. — We need to get outta here.

But maybe we should rest? Just for a bit? — Amethyst yawned as she looked at the ruined cape. — I understand you want to see your families, but uh...Father's going to kill me for this. — She pointed at the cape.

Oh, he gifted you it? — Tallishi coughed.

YOU'RE SICK?! — Amethyst instantly started panicking, as she was just a child and didn't know how to act in situations like this. — MAYBE WE SHOULD GO BACK TO THAT LIBRARY GUY, MAYBE WE CAN FIND COFFEE, OR TEA, OR YOU NEED A BLANKET, OR LET'S PUT YOU IN A BE-

—No, no, I did that on accident. — Tallishi laughed, as she stared at the panicking child. — We need to go now.

—No! Just for a moment. — Amethyst suddenly hugged Tallishi. — You're not in the condition to run.

—Doesn't matter, let's go. — Tallishi stood up.

She still struggled to walk, but now with the handmade bandage it was easier to move. Amethyst grabbed her ruined leftovers from her cape, as she wasn't going to throw them away.

—I hope you're going to see your family soon. — Amethyst smiled, as she walked near older girl.

Thank you...you too. — Tallishi tried to smile. — Now we just need to run.

Just don't collapse, please! — Amethyst worryingly stared at the taller girl.

Try me. — Tallishi grabbed Amethyst, who started to scream, and rushed forward.

Tallishi maybe was injured, but noticing the very same goopy creature coming out from the floor gave her a huge adrenaline burst, so the pain faded away.

She ran, still carrying Amethyst, following the shimmering cyan light. Whatever was that light, it seemed to guide them, so she easily trust it's ways.

As they reached the last corridor, Tallishi was struggling, because the child wanted to touch the black goopy hands which were coming out of the windows. But well, Tallishi didn't let her.

Fortunately this time, the older girl didn't get a burn, as she rushed through the last door and instantly shut it, so that inky humanoid wouldn't be able to continue his chase.

As Tallishi put Amethyst down on the floor, she almost collapsed. She opened the drawer, which was closest to her, and smiled as she found vitamins.

She tried offering them to Amethyst, and maybe would shove them in, but Amethyst didn't accept them. The child seemed to understand that her injury isn't that dangerous as Tallishi's. So in the end Amethyst was the one, who forcefully put the vitamins into Tallishi's mouth.

And they continued trying to escape this place, Tallishi was always going after the cyan light which had some sparkles in it. Though she wondered, why does the light disappear, when Amethyst goes near it.
