I usually headcanon Rush & Ambush as siblings, but AUs exist

oh and i also used a bit of the fact that there are new entities

Rush sighed as he looked around. Just another room which he ruined and a lifeless human body. He growled, as it was kind of hard for him to see in the dark.
But at least he got a permission to attack players in dark rooms.
The whole hotel was somewhat updated, and there seemed to be new entities, who he and few others haven't met yet. Guiding Light always takes care of new entities.
Though the sudden change makes Rush stressed, especially how some others have changed. Seek became more aggressive, and Figure turned more unhinged.
As if everyone's sanity decreased.
No, it always happens, everytime a new entity appears. And Rush didn't like it, as he was one of the first.
Rush growled as he started flying towards one of the doors.
The door suddenly opened and some creepy humanoid screamed at him, making him flinch.
-AHAHA! YOU GOT SCARED! - Dupe started maniacally laughing.
-SHUT UP! IT'S DARK AND I DIDN'T SEE YOUR GODDAMN DOOR! - Rush roared, and it was Dupe's turn to freak out.
-Chill! - Dupe stopped smiling. - Why so aggressive- I thought you always are here for pranks-
-SHUT UP! - Rush shut the door at the other entity.
Rush rolled his eyes and left the dark room, he was frustrated and even furious.
He wasn't going to waste time on any of the "newbies''. He wasn't going to cause chaos or pranks like he always does.
He was just...not in the mood.
-Rush! - A green flash rushed in front of the gray entity, but then the green glowing entity came back, revealing itself to be Ambush. - Rush?
-WHAT?! - Rush growled back, but noticing how Ambush moved back, he sighed with a quiet voice. - Sorry. What is it?
-Are you okay? - Ambush worryingly moved closer to the other entity. - Ya know that it's easy to see, when you're upset.
-Pffffft, nonsense! - Rush tried to smile, but he knew that it's true. His fake smiles are always so bad compared to real ones. - Uh...Maybe.
-Tell me, what's wrong? - Ambush lovingly kissed Rush's cheek, turning him red.
-New entities are absolute shit. - Rush growled, hearing Ambush's giggles.
-Welp, they're forever with us now. - Ambush chuckled, as he glanced at Rush. - Wanna take a walk, or should I say, a rush?
-"Ha ha" - Rush looked away, while Ambush laughed at his own joke. - Sure I guess...
Rush and Ambush were slowly flying through the hotel. They didn't bother to greet any of the new entities or others, except for the ones they respect.
They entered the room where Jeff's shop was.
That red cat was gone already.
Rush and Ambush looked around in the messy room, as they noticed tentacles waving at them.
-Hi, Jeff! - Ambush smiled and immediately flew to look at the things in the shop. - Code E-V-O-L
Jeff's eyes widened for a second, as he started to energetically nodd.
Just now Rush remembered that Jeff was mute. Perhaps it was even a good thing.
Jeff disappeared in the dark and Ambush patiently waited. While the gray entity was awkwardly standing in the doorway.
-Sit down, Rush. - Ambush suggested, glancing at the table with two chairs.
Usually, a skeleton would sit on one of the chairs, but this time he was on a third chair which somewhy was away from the table. It was slightly odd.
Rush unsurely moved to the chair and sat on it, still feeling anxious and awkward.
He, usually, is an energetic and chaotic entity, but last time he was feeling himself so worried when he's near Ambush. That strange feeling when he, instead of rushing through every room and laughing at everyone, is being patient and quiet. That very moment, when he feels the temperature rise when Ambush was near.
Perhaps, Ambush had an aura which can increase the temperature? Well, at least Rush hoped so.
-Rush! - Ambush called as he sat down in front of the gray entity.
-Yea? - Rush noticed how black tentacles suddenly placed two plates with pieces of cake. - What? Why-
-I just wanted to cheer you up, Ru. - Ambush smiled, as the other entity turned red. - So I thought you would like a piece of cake?
-I- Thank you... - Rush clearly didn't expect Ambush to actually use the nicknames idea. - Thank you, Bush.
They both giggled.
And they both continued to talk.
While Jeff watched them, almost tearing up from how cute these two were.
ig i kinda enjoyed writing this, but still feels awkward because I'm used to the fact that Rush and Ambush are twins-
