In my family there's always been a saying: "Act like you trust people, but do not." and I actually believe those words.
My mother has been hurt many times because she trusted people too easily and, of course, they took advantage of that, and you may ask 'How can Na'vi people be so cruel?' they can, but mother always said that, in the end, they solved all the issues between them.
I don't mean that the Na'vi or my clan doesn't deserve my trust but what if it ends up killing me? What if I cannot go back?
It has always been confusing for me on how to trust; and as I said I do not trust.
Yet,, there's an exception.
My grandmother was a woman of respect, she always knew everything about everyone, and she was the only one who told me that someday I will have someone special to trust.Someday. When will that day come? I always asked but she never answered that question, she just smiled.
I loved her, and she loved me. She was the only one who understood me.. but as Ewya wants, sooner or later we have to return the energies we have borrowed.I believed my grandmother and I will always believe her, that's why even now,, I'm waiting for that special someone.

As part of the Metkayina clan, it's my job collaborating with my people. Hunting and participating at the clan meetings, it has always been this way and I don't really mind it.
Surprisingly I'm close friends with the Olo'eyktan children, particularly with Tsireya. We hang out most of the time and we often talk about her brother, who can be kind of annoying but he has his kind side too.
I maybe am close with them, however I do not trust.
And as you can imagine my life has always been kind of repetitive; hunting, eating, riding my Ilu and hanging out. There's been little to no times where something interesting happened, yet today the routine changed.
...
My ears moved suddenly when I heard the unexpected sound of the seashell horns. It could be meaning two things; an urgent clan meeting or someone is visiting us.
"Y/N come! There are some guests!" I could hear Tsireya calling my name on her Ilu.I was fast to drop into the water and in minutes we were on the shore where the Metkayina people were already surrounding the intruders.
I was quick to point out the new company.Unlike us, they had more of a royal blue skin color, a shorter tail, golden eyes and,, five fingers. Except two, the mother and one of the sons. Or at least that's what it looked like.
Still, they were demons. What are people like them doing here? And how can they look so calm?
I took my time my analyze them better, they were in six, the parents, two girls and two boys. The girls looked more insecure while the boys were more curious, who took their sweet time to study Tsireya and me. One of them was taller and seemed more responsible while the other was a bit shorter and looked more lost in his thoughts.
Finally the Olo'eyktan and the Tsahìk came to see what was the commotion about and started talking to them. I honestly wasn't listening, I was continuing to scan the new company, the older girl was honestly really pretty while the younger one was more adorable.
However I could see the exhaustion in their eyes, I could never imagine how long it took to come here from their home.
I didn't know those people nor their intentions but it seemed that the Olo'eyktan knew the father. Jake Sully.
The one who won the war against the skypeople, and apparently he was a Toruk Makto too.
I'm not sure what to think about them but the clan leader let them stay with us, and said that his children had to teach them our ways so they could survive.Ao'nung didn't look too happy at hearing the news.
"Come! We'll show you where you'll be staying." Tsireya exclaims interrupting me from my thoughts.
She pulls me by my tail telling me to come with them. I look at her annoyingly while she returns the gaze smiling excitedly "Maybe it's your chance to find that special someone" she whispers. I just roll my eyes at her. While I accompanied them I noticed how the others were really cautious to not come near us, but who blames them? I wouldn't either.
We arrived to their Marui pod while Tsireya explained them the basics "If you are alright with it we can start teaching your kids right now too, my parents are waiting for you at the shore." she said whilst smirking at me.I had to be honest, the shorter boy caught my eye. The entire time I was trying to look at him more and more. But he had eyes for Tsireya.
"Yeah sure, you can take them." Jake sighed signaling to the kids to come with us "Don't do anything stupid." I could hear him whisper.
While we were going back to the shore Ao'nung and his friends reached us; "Why are you helping them?" the brother whispered loudly enough to let Tsireya hear."Because father said so and, unlike you, I'm listening to him, besides it's a chance to know other Na'vi people better." While they were arguing, I was listening the whole conversation chuckling.
"What are you laughing about?" Ao'nung noticed my giggling "Nothing." I smirked.I turned around to look at the Na'vi teenagers "Sorry for their behavior, it's not everyday where other Na'vi come visit us," - I smile - "I hope you can understand." The taller one spoke.
"It's nothing really, just kind of awkward but don't worry."We finally arrived at our destination and Ao'nung started speaking "Who touches the bottom last, has to hunt for everyone for the rest of the week!" he launched himself and the others followed.
Tsireya sighed "I'm sorry for my brother, he doesn't know when to contain himself." she said looking back at me "But that's besides the point, I'm Tsireya and this is my close friend Y/N."The others were quick to introduce themselves; Neteyam was the oldest, then Lo'ak followed with Kiri and Tuktirey or Tuk, like she said she wants us to call her.
Lo'ak.. a name that I've never heard before but at the same time I had a strange feeling hearing it.
