Three months later.
It's been a whole three months since Erica and Boyd went missing and Dylan Hale was going out of his mind.
The teen hybrid, his family and Isaac have all been looking for them for the whole time, but always came up with nothing.
They knew that the Alpha pack had the two Betas, but had no idea where they were keeping them.
To try and make it easier, Dylan had been trying to convince himself that they were dead, but every time he thought about Erica being dead, he'd feel depressed and hide from his family to cry.
He didn't want her to be dead and hoped to find her soon.
The hybrid boy was currently patrolling an abandoned part of town, searching for any sign of the Alphas, when he suddenly stopped as he caught the scent of blood.

His heart dropped as he realized that this blood had a particularly, familiar smell.
Without wasting a second, he vamp sped away, following the scent, until he came to a large, abandoned building and sped inside.
Dylan came to a stop, hiding in the shadows as he saw a dark-haired woman with no shoes, growling with glowing red eyes.
This is one of the Alphas.
He then noticed that she was standing over a bloodied, beaten heap on the floor and his heart raced at the sight of familiar blonde hair.
ERICA!!!
She was badly injured, taking very shallow breaths as he heard her heart beating dangerously slow, indicating she was barely alive.
The Alpha raised her clawed hand, preparing to make the killing blow. "NOOOO!!!" Dylan roared then vamp sped over, knocking the Alpha away so hard, she smashed through a wall.
Needing to get Erica out to save her, the hybrid scooped her up into his arms, bridal style and vamp sped as far away as possible.
Once at a safe few miles away, Dylan came to a stop on an empty street as he looked down at the injured Beta in his arms. "Erica?" He called, softly, but the girl was unresponsive. "Erica, please, wake up. Say something" He continued, desperately as he gently shook her limp form, hoping to wake her.
