Hours later.
Talulah, Lily and Dylan were watching over Derek as he was still passed out, weak and exhausted from giving up his power.
Dylan then heard movement behind them and turned around to see Cora sit up, looking much better. "Aunt Cora" He breathed out, relieved, catching his mother's and sister's attention as he vamp sped over to the older female werewolf, hugging her. "Cora, you're ok. You scared us to death" Talulah tells her sister in law as she and Lily join the hug. "What happened?" Cora asks, slightly dazed. "You were on the brink of death thanks to Jennifer and her Mistletoe. But Daddy gave up his Alpha power to save you" Lily informs her.
Surprised yet relieved by the information, Cora held onto her niece and nephew as they helped her off the bed and to get her balance as despite being cured, she was a little dazed.
They all heard Derek start breathing heavily as he was waking up, making them all run over to him.
The man slowly opened his eyes, seeing he was surrounded by his family. "You're ok" He mutters to his younger sister, weakly, but also relieved. "I'm doing much better than you are right now, and it's all because of you" Cora tells him, grateful as she carefully hugs him.
Talulah then punched his arm, gaining a yelp of pain from him. "You stupid idiot! While I'm glad it worked, do you have any idea how risky that was? We could've lost both of you" The vampire scolds her husband. "Hopefully not all for nothing" They hear Peter speak up. "The moon is rising, Derek. You drained your battery all the way to the red, and there is a fully charged Alpha on her way to rip you limb from limb" The older werewolf reminds his nephew. "I'll be fine in a few hours" Derek states, weakly. "I sincerely hope so because a few is all that you have" Peter says, gravely.
Talulah, Dylan and Cora helped Derek up and onto the bed to help him rest.
He may not have the Alpha strength and power anymore, but he needs whatever strength he can get if he wants a fighting chance because Kali will not fight a vampire or hybrid, she'd be signing her death certificate before she even stepped into the loft.
