At the loft, Jennifer ran in. "Derek! Talulah, where are you?!" She calls out for the werewolf/vampire couple. "Right here" Derek answers as he and Talulah step out from the shadows. "What happened?" Talulah asks, her with fake concern.

The whole car ride, Derek explained to Talulah that Jennifer Blake might be the Darach, sacrificing people and tried to kill Lydia. "Something happened at the recital, at the school. Ok, I need to tell you before you hear it. Before you hear any of it from them" She tells him, urgently. "From who?" Derek asks her, also faking concern. "Scott, Stiles. They're gonna tell you things. Things you can't believe. You have to trust me, ok. Just promise you'll listen to me" She pleads, hoping that they'll believe her.
The couple hesitate, looking at each other, having a silent conversation.
They weren't entirely sure what to believe, but Scott wouldn't make something like this up and they always had a hidden feeling that something was off about her. "Ok, we promise" Talulah lies, making her smile in relief.
Her smile then dropped, noticing how they looked too calm. "They're already here, aren't they?" She asks, turning around to see Scott and Stiles, come out of hiding then turns back to the Hales. "So, they told you it was me? That I'm the one taking people?" She asks, innocently as the couple study her, closely, trying to detect that she's lying, but her heartbeat is steady. "We told them you're the one killing people" Scott corrects her, trying to catch her out, but she's way too committed. "Oh, that's right. Committing human sacrifices? What, cutting their throats? Yeah, I probably do it on my lunch hour. That way, I can get back to teaching high school English the rest of the day. That makes perfect sense" Jennifer snarks, sarcastically. "Where's my Dad?" Stiles questions her, starting to get upset as he gets her attention. "How should I know?" Jennifer asks, frustrated then turns back to the couple. "Derek, Talulah, tell me you don't believe this?" She pleads with a hopeful look on her face, hoping they will take her side. "Do you know what happened to Stiles' father?" Derek questions her, obviously not trusting her. "No, I don't" She answers, disbelieved that no one's siding with her. "Ask her why she almost killed Lydia" Scott speaks up, getting angry that they're not getting anywhere. "Lydia Martin? I don't know anything about that" Jennifer argues, knowing she has to defend herself. "What do you know?" Talulah snaps at her, losing her patience.
