Lily and Kira were at the school, in the middle of the night, looking for two werewolves that were being hunted by assassin. "I see them!" Lily exclaims, seeing the two running on the lacrosse field.

They recognised the taller male as Brett, but didn't recognise the smaller female, assuming she was a member of his pack.
Kira swung her sword, slicing an arrow that was soaring for Brett. "Come with me! Hurry!" Lily yells, grabbing their hands and pulling them along, urgently as they ran as fast as they could.

At the animal clinic, Scott, Lily and Kira was standing in the back room with Satomi and the surviving members of her pack, being hidden and sheltered from threats. "Satomi, this is who I was telling you about" Kira informs the older woman. "I know who Scott McCall is" Satomi said with a gentle smile. "Are we safe here?" The girl, now known as Lori asked, timidly, gaining sympathetic expressions from the others.
Just by looking at the small pack and their injuries, it was clear that they didn't know how to protect themselves, so they would need to take every precaution and everyone willing to help if they wanted to get out of this alive.
