In Her Head

(I did it again, and I'm sorry)

He's stuck in her head

His laugh

His smile

His eyes.

She can't get enough

His jokes

His stories

His passions.

She's lying to herself

He might love her

They could have a life

... maybe a family.

They're on two different paths

Paths that just so happen to meet

Paths that only cross briefly

Paths that won't cross again.

But the desires are loud

The feel of his body against hers

The feel of his hand encasing hers

His smell for which she longs to inhale.

For now, she waits

Waits for a day

Waits to see if he feels the same

Or waits for the day when they part ways.
