She hit his arm playfully..the day went smoothly...

At Home-

Maa- Haseena..kha le bacha..(she said, forwarding a morsel of roti dipped in gravy)

HM- hum nahi kha payenge Maa..humara pet bhara bhara sa lag rha hai..(she denied gently)

Ammi- tune shaam ko jo chaat khayi na, usse acidity ho rhi hai tujhe..aur ab dinner mein aadhi roti khayi hai bas abtak..isliye chup chap kha le..(she scolded, HM made a teary face)

Maa- kya aap bhi samdhanji..Haseena beta..(sweetly), ek bite bas..(she made HM eat the morsel)..bhot acche..aise hi bas kuch bites mein ho jayega..hm?

HM nodded..keeping her head on Maa's shoulder, giving a 😒 look to Ammi..who rolled her eyes..

Baba and Abbu entered the hall and saw the scenerio..as soon as HM saw Abbu..she went and hugged him..

Abbu- kya hogaya hamari bacchi ko? (caressing her hair)

HM- ammi ne daata..(she said complainingly, snuggling into her father's embrace)

Abbu- beta woh chhodke kisi bhi cheez se lad sakte hain tere abbu..(he said murmuring, HM heard it and laughed, while Ammi raised her eyebrows)

Ammi- kuch kaha aapne Shah?

Abbu- kuch bhi toh nahi..😅 aap chahen toh hamari shehzadi se puchh lijiye..

HM- ha ammi..kuch nahi bole abbu..(she said, suppressing her laugh)

Ammi hummed suspiciously..till then Anubhav came downstairs after completing his paperwork..and saw a plate with one roti and sabzi in Maa's hand..

AS- Haseena, aapne abtak bhojan grehen nahi kiya?

HM- mann nahi kar rha tha hamara..(sadly)

AS- aise kaise chalega j..Haseena..aaiye hum khilate hain aapko..

She hummed and sat beside him..he took the plate from Maa's hand..and saw HM looking at the plate with weird expressions..

AS- accha suniye..(she looked at him)..apko hamare bachpan ki sari kahaniyan bata di maa ne?

HM- nahi..woh apke college life se pehle ki batayi hain..

AS- arre..maa bhi na, sabse romanchak samay pe hi kahani rok di..

HM- kyu? Kya hua tha? (excitingly)

AS- bata dein?(while preparing a morsel)

HM- please..

He started narrating his college tales to her..she listened keenly..he managed to make her eat that roti and sabzi..the parents' duo was smiling seeing how effortlessly he managed his storm..
