Continued-

Ammi-Abbu had gone to live with Haseena..as they knew it would be difficult for her to handle Ruhi alone. Both the set of parents were disappointed with Anubhav after the whole drama..but did not want their children to live separately. Haseena was coping with her thana duties and mother duties...while obviously missing her husband. But the anger inside her did not let her talk to him. The elderly parents decided to give some time to their children to sort the fight out as it was a genuine mistake from Anubhav's side and an angry decision from Haseena's. Both were right and both were wrong at the same time.

Haseena was driving towards home late at night..when she got a call from Karishma..she stopped the jeep at a side and picked the call.

HM- boliye Karishma Singh..kuch kaam tha?

Caller- Ayyii...pup...eeee!(Squealed)

Haseena confusingly looked at the caller name..it was Karishma only..she again put it on her ear..

KS- arre bhabhi koi kaam nahi tha..ye Krish ne phone le liya tha hamara aur pehla number aapka tha..toh galti se laga diya...

A/N: Karishma and others were unknown of what had happened between AnuSeena.

HM chuckled- accha accha...mami ki yaad aa rahi thi kya bhanje ko..?(Smiled)

KS- keh sakte hain..aaiye na kabhi ghar par bhi..mil lega aapse..thane toh laa nahi paate hum isse apni bike par..

HM- nahi nahi..aap apni bike pe laane ka kasht na karen..hum aayenge jald hi milne usse..ab rakhte hain..ghar nahi pahuche hain..

KS- Oh..theek hai bhabhi..bye..

She cut the call and rotated the keys..but the jeep couldn't start. She huffed and got down...trying to examine the vehicle. But to her misfortune, there was a major technical problem with it..which she couldn't tackle.

She looked around for some commute..but since it was late at night..no rickshaw aur cab was visible. She had thought to call up Karishma for some help..but then thought about waiting for sometime for a lift. Fifteen minutes later..she saw a car coming towards her...which she could recognise very well. The car stopped right in front of her. Anubhav lowered the windows.

AS- andar baith jaiye..(without looking at her)

Haseena said nothing and looked away..waiting for him to leave.

AS- zidd mat kijiye Haseena ji..rasta safe nahi hai...baith jaiye please..(he said, finally looking at her)

HM- aap jaiye, hum apna dekh lenge..(rudely)

Anubhav sighed helplessly. He was about to start the car when he heard a voice.

"Aye haye..kya kaatilana item hai...", Anubhav's blood boiled listening the voice.

Haseena looked around only to find a group of local boys standing there...laughing among themselves.

B1- hayee..kaash ek raat ke liye ye mil jaati...(Gazing at her lustfully)

HM- bakwaas band karo apni..dikhta nahi hum police officer hain?(Angrily)

B2- issi adaa ke toh hum deewane hain jaan-e-mann...(Moving towards her..trying to grab her)

Haseena slapped the boy hard..so hard that he could taste his own blood in his mouth. He glared at her angrily..the other two boys also attacked her.

But but but...somebody else was also present there, if you remember. Anubhav held the other two idiots and easily made them taste the fresh coal tar of the road. Haseena gulped looking at them..as they took a good 10 minutes to get on their feet again. She saw his rageful eyes..the rage which can be calmed only by himself.

They ran as fast as possible...fearing the outcomes of fighting with a well-built man and a trained officer woman. Anubhav looked at Haseena..who thought there was no other option. She quietly settled on the front seat of the car..followed by Anubhav who grabbed the driver's seat.

He started the car...the ride was silent but both spoke many words in their minds. They yearned for each other...it had been a month staying away from each other now. He had not seen his little princess for so long...but the guilt inside him did not even let him dare ask Haseena about her. Haseena glanced at her husband..who had changed drastically in a month itself. He had grown visibly thin...dark circles eneveloped his beautiful hazel orbs..pinching her heart. But this punishment is necessary....her mind said to her but her heart said otherwise. He is an officer..moreover an IB officer. It was his duty to choose his duty and fulfill it by using any method..be it legal or illegal. Moreover, little Ruhi was also yearning for her father's love...she has been repeating 'Papa' everyday...only to see a glimpse of her dear father. Haseena decided to be a little lenient as they reached her home.

AS- aa gaya aapka ghar...

HM- hmm..waise aap chaahe toh hamari beti se mil sakte hain...(She said without looking at him)

He smiled painfully..noticing how she said 'hamari' and not hum dono ki...though he did not miss the chance as he knew seeing his daughter again was something very difficult in near future..he nodded and followed Haseena. She rang the doorbell..ammi opened the door and smiled seeing Anubhav along with Haseena...

Ammi- tum dono ek sath-

HM- hamari beti se milne aaye hain..chale jayenge fir...(She said cutting ammi's words..clarifying the matter was not sorted yet)

Ammi smiled sadly and let them in...Little Ruhi attempted to run with wobbly steps and fell mid-way...Anubhav ran towards her and picked her up..his eyes were teary...he kissed her forehead, plump cheeks, cute nose and every possible space on her face. Everyone including Haseena got emotional seeing the sight. Ruhi wiped her father's tears using her little palms and nodded in no...signifying him not to cry. He hugged his daughter tightly..."Papa" she mumbled squealing...melting everyone's heart. Anubhav separated himself from her after a good 15 minutes.

AS- dhanyawaad humein yeh avsar dene ke liye Haseena- Miss Malik..

Her heart pained listening Miss Malik again...He too looked at her with same pain in his eyes. He had now assumed that she will be divorcing him soon...as no mother could tolerate a danger on her child. He still could not imagine living a life without her and his princess...but Haseena's decision was important to him. But what she said next increased his hopes.

HM- hum ghar mein hain sir...Mrs.Singh kahiye...

He smiled widely..noticed by Haseena...she smiled inwardly seeing him smile after so long..yes, she was angry...yes she was disappointed. But divorce? Nope, that was not a solution to a marital fight. She hence gave a major hint to him...that he could still convince her...make her believe that he won't be doing the deed again ever....and his happiness knew no bounds after getting that hint from her. She saw him go from the door and silently hoped everything will be fine, soon.
