Haseena parked her jeep and unlocked the door. An immediate smile appeared on her lips as little Ruhi made happy baby sounds on the arrival of her mother. She changed into comfy clothes and washed her hands..and picked up her 8-month baby..

HM- Ammi ko yaad kiya baby ne?(cutely pecking her nose)

"Aeiii", the little one gave a big, toothless smile..making HM smile. Maa-Baba and Ammi-Abbu smiled seeing the sweet exchange.

Maa- Haseena, Anu kab aayega kuch pata hai? Phone bhi nahi utha raha..

HM- Aate hi honge Maa..aaj shayad IG Sir ko kuch kaam tha unse..isiliye deri ho gayi hogi..(she said, keeping Ruhi in her cradle)..waise, Ammi, Ruhi ka cerelac banaya hai aapne ya hum bana dein?

Ammi- banakar khila diya humne..aaj jaldi bhuk lag gayi thi isse..dopeher mein bhi kam khaya tha na isiliye..tu baith, tera khana nikalti hoon..

HM- aa..hum nikal lenge ammi..aap log so jaiye..

Abbu- par beta..

HM- Humne kaha na, hum pakka kha lenge..aaplog so jaiye..apki tabiyat par asar padega..11 baj chuke hain already..davaiyan li aapne Baba aur Abbu?

Abbu/Baba- Ji Madam Sir!

All laughed..except confused Ruhi..🤭

HM- Good..ab jaiye room mein..Good Night!

They went to sleep..and a few minutes later, Haseena heard the sounds of door unlocking...Anubhav entered, taking a deep breath. His face showed how tired he was.

"Khana laga dete hain aap jaldi change karke aaiye", he heard his wife's command and immediately obliged as he was really hungry.

At the dinner table-

AnuSeena were silently eating..had it been some other day they would have been sharing the day's occurings and cases. But today it was different. For the first time their pov's didn't match. Happens, Right? You can't be 100% matching mindset as your partner.

AS- Aap kyu ruki itni der?(he asked, initiating a conversation)

HM- Kyuki hum jaante hain kiaap itna thak gaye honge ki khud khana lekar bhi nahi khayenge..(she said, taking another bite of ladyfinger)

AS- Aap naraaz hain humse?(Haseena looked at him)..uss case ko lekar..(he completed)

HM- Hum naraaz nahi hain Anubhav..par aapki baat accept bhi nahi kar pa rahe..(sighed deeply)..anyways, humein lagta hai ki iss baat ko thane tak rakhne mein hi samajhdari hai..

AS- Hmm..sahi kaha aapne..chaliye phir, khana khatam karke sheegr sote hain..aaj toh apni Ruhi ke sath bhi nahi khel paye hum..(he said, looking sadly at his princess' sleeping figure)

Haseena smiled

AS- Apko hasi aa rahi hai?(frowned)

HM- Arre nahi..hum toh bas Ruhi ke liye aapka pyar dekhkar muskura rahe the..(she said smiling)

AS- Pita hain uske, prem toh karenge hi na..(looked at Ruhi lovingly)

HM- Anubhav..

AS- Hmm..

HM- Dekhiye aaj hamare beech disagreement hua aur aage bhi ho sakta hai..isiliye yeh aapki aur hamari bhi duty hai ki hum iss cheez ko apni personal life pe haavi na hone dein..aap samajh rahe haina?

AS- Bilkul..hum iss baat se sehmat hain..waise bhi, professional life mein toh hum SHO Haseena Malik pe line maarne ka bhi nahi soch sakte..par yahan apni patni se toh prem ke shabd bol hi sakte hain...(he said flirtily)

HM- Aap nahi sudhrenge na..(she smiled rolling her eyes)

AS- Kabhi nahi!

They shared a laugh and kept their plates in the kitchen. 

They slept peacefully, charging themselves to Unfold the potential Case the next day.

Karishma brought the reports of the hair strands found on Ravi's bed..Anubhav and Haseena read it and looked at each other..

HM- Humne toh pehle hi kaha tha..(closing the report)..aur isse yeh saabit bhi hota hai ki Ravi hi gunehgaar hai..

AS- Haseena ji, zaroori hai ki ek baal se Ravi ko hum itne bade jurm ka karta maan lein? Zara sochiye..ek mahila nahi, ek officer ki nazron se..

HM- Toh aapko lagta hai hamare decisions biased hain Sir?(hurtfully)

AS- Aap galat arth nikal rahi hain Haseena Malik..(sighed)..accha kya hum ek aur baar Ravi ke ghar ja sakte hain?

KS- Ab ka bacha hai Sir? Uss Ravi ko arrest karne ka samay toh aa chuka hai..(angrily)

AS- hum senior hain iss samay, Karishma Singh..(calmly)

KS huffed..The trio went to Ravi's house again..

AS- Aap dono jaiye, ek baar aur tehkikaat kijiye uske ghar..

KS- Par sir ab ka fayda..ab toh agar saboot honge bhi toh mit gaye honge..ya chhupa diye honge uss Kamine Ravi ne..(angrily)

HM- KS theek keh rahi hain Sir..

AS- Aap dono kripaya hamari baat suniye aur wahi kariye jo hum keh rahe hain..

HM- Theek hai..par aap?

AS- Humein guard se kuch baat karni hai..

They hummed and went upstairs. Anubhav went to the guard.

AS- Suniye Shreemaan..!

The sleeping guard opened his eyes..

G- ji?

AS- Suprabhat..(sweetly)

The guard stood up embarrassingly..

G- K-kuch madad chahiye thi ka Sirji?(he asked nervously)

AS- Ji..humein yahan ki lift ki CCTV footage chahiye..

G- Par sir, aise kisi ko bhi-

AS- Hum police vibhag se hain..(showed his ID)

G- oh..chaliye phir..

AS was keenly observing the footage when the guard asked,

G- Kauno baat hai ka Sirji? 

AS- Baat toh hai Mahashay..aacha ek baat bataiye, abhi kuch dino purv yahan yeh ladki aayi thi kya?(showed him a picture)

G- Aayi toh thi..

AS- Tumne isse jaate waqt dekha?

G- Nahi Sirji..tab dusre guard ki duty hogi shayad..

AS- Hmm..aur woh kahan hai?

G- Woh toh gaanv ke liye nikal gaya aaj subah..

AS- Tch..(looked at the screen again..he finally smiled seeing his next clue)
