Anubhav wasn't home since morning... Haseena was tensed as he was never this late..she saw the clock..it was 3:30 AM.

She called Neeti..who picked the call in one ring..

HM- Sorry Neeti, disturb toh nahi kiya?

N- aree bilkul nahi..hum office mein hai..aaj files khatam karni thi..aap bataoye, sab theek? Nanhi gudiya kaisi hai?

HM- abhi toh so rahi hai fortunately..(smiled a bit)..Maa Baba ke room mein hai..

N- toh aap kyi jaag rahi hain?

HM- Anu..I mean Anubhav ab tak ghar nahi aaye...

N- what?! Woh toh nikal gaye the jaldi..Akshay bhi aa gaya aaj..phir Sir ko kahan itni der lag gayi?

HM- accha koi baat nahi, chinta mat karo, hum baat karte hain Akshay se..tum bhi so jao jaldi..

Neeti hummed and HM cut the call..she then called Akshay..

Ak- ji Ma'am, mai aapko hi phone karne wala tha..

HM- kyun?(worriedly) Anubhav theek haina?

Ak- theek toh hain..ek second..ma'am actually mai drive kar raha hoon..bas aa rha hu apke hi ghar..aap bass gate pe wait kariyega..

HM- Anubhav, Anubhav sath hain tumhare?

Ak- Ji ma'am, bas aa raha hoon..(he said and cut the call)

A few minutes later, she saw the silhoutte of  a man and opened the door..it was Akshay, supporting Anubhav..who was seeming drunk.

HM- in..inhone pi rakhi hai?

Ak nodded hesitatingly..Haseena was in shock..Anubhav hated alcohol..he never touched it in his college days..only in rare cases he drank a sip or two with his seniors.

AS(intoxicated)- Haseena..Hamari haseena...(he mumbled, looking at his ladylove)

Ak and HM looked at each other nervously..

HM- aa..aap jaiye Akshay ji, hum dekh lenge inhe..(she said, supporting AS)

Ak- ok ma'am, kuch bhi issue hogs toh aap bejhijhak call kar dijiyega..

HM nodded with a smile and Ak went..

AS- I love youuu meri haseenaa..(he said, kissing her cheek, while she couldn't focus there..as she was tensed about the family waking up)

AS- kya hua jaan, aap pyaar nahi karti humse..(sadly)

Haseena looked at him..she smiled inwardly at his cute face..

HM- Bohot pyaar karte hai aapse..par abhi aap room mein chalke boliyega jo bhi bolna hai..yahan kuch kaha toh sab jag jayenge..isliye shh..

He nodded, keeping a finger on his lips..she smiled and helped him go to their room.

Haseena helped him sit on the bed...

AS- I am sorry..jaan..(he said sadly)

She looked at him confusedly and sat beside him..

HM- sorry? Sorry kyu bol rahe hain aap?

AS- hum bohot bure hai..aapki jaan ko khatre mein daala humne..(he said, sobbing slightly)

HM- Anu..(worriedly wiping his tears)..aap..aap ek kaam kijiye..pehle nimbu pani pijiye..okay?

He said nothing..just hugged her..she was highly tensed now..

HM- aisa kya hua hai jo yeh aise behave kar rahe hain...(in mind)

AS slept in her arms only..she slowly broke the hug and carefully made him sleep on his side...

Morning-

Anubhav was still asleep, while Haseena was busy feeding their baby girl..

HM- baby..dekho na, kya ho gaya hai apke papa ko..inhone kabhi drink nahi ki..aur kal raat toh na jaane kis baat ki maafi maang rahe the humse..(worriedly)

The doll was busy in her work though..🤭

Soon she slept again..Haseena carefully kept her on the bed..Anubhav's sleep broke till then..he slowly sat up, holding his head..

HM- pehle aap ye pijiye..(she gave him the lemon water glass she had kept on the side table)

He looked at her and then at the glass..and drank it in one go..

HM- aapse kayi savaal karne hain..par pehle fresh ho kar aiye..ab abhi alcoholic smell aa rahi hai aapse..baki badon ko pata chala toh Maa kya haal karegi aapka aap jaante hi hain..

He nodded with a blank face and went in the washroom...

A few minutes later..he came out and found Haseena sitting with a questionable face. He understood that he will be under interrogation now.

HM- ab bataiye, kyun drink ki aapne?

AS- w..wo hamare mitr ne dhoke se pila di..

HM- kaunsa mitr?🤨

AS-aa..Hitesh..

HM- Jhoot..(standing up)..kal raat aap Akshay ke sath the....aur woh apko kabhi force nahi kar sakta..woh kya, koi bhi aapko force nahi kar sakta..aap negotiation specialist jo thehre..jo apko karna hota hai..aap apna chakri dimag use karke kar hi lete hain..toh yeh bekaar bahaane mat dijiye humein..(sternly)

He bowed down..

HM- Anubhav..(softly)..baat kya hai? Aap duty ke siva kabhi drink nahi karte the..phir ye sab? Aur kal raat humse kis baat ki maafi maang rahe the aap? Kya kiya aapne?

AS- woh..
