Adam

Courtney and I got to the front and turned and faced each other. I grabbed her hands. We stared at each other. Her beautiful green eyes were glistening in the lights of the church.

They were beautiful. I'm so happy Courtney decided to wear her glasses. I know she doesn't like them, but it makes me stare at her longer.

"Please, take a seat." The Priest asked. Everyone sat down as Courtney and I said still on the stand, still staring at each other. "Today, we come together to have Adam L. Banks, and Courtney O. Jane, join hands in and everlasting love." The Priest said, opening up his little bible and looking down at it.

"Dearly beloved, we are gathered together here in the sight of God, an the face of this company, to join together this man and this women in holy Matrimony, which is an honorable estate, instituted of God, signifying unto us the mystical union that is betwixt Christ and His church..." I started to zone out.

I was thinking about Courtney and I's future together. Maybe we can have kids later on. I really want a little girl. And I want her name to be after Courtney's grandmother, Paige. I think it's a beautiful name. Or maybe Heather. I think that is also a beautiful name.

"If any man can show just cause, why they may not lawfully be joined together, let him now speak, or else hereafter forever hold his peace." I looked down at James and McGill. James was sitting quietly, while McGill moved in his seat as if he was trying to stay silent. I smiled and looked back at Courtney.

"Adam." The Priest said. I zoned back in, but I was still looking at Courtney. "Wilt thou have this Women to thy wedded wife, to live together after God's ordinance in the Holy estate of Matrimony? Wilt you love her, comfort her, honor her, and keep her in sickness and in health; and, forsaking all others, keep thee only unto her, so long as ye both shall live?" I smiled.

"I do."

"Courtney. Wilt thou have this Man to thy wedded husband, to live together after God's ordinance in the Holy estate of Matrimony? Wilt you love him, comfort him, honor him, and keep him in sickness and in health; and, forsaking all others, keep thee only unto him, so long as ye both shall live?" She smiled at me and started to tear up with the cute little smile she does.

"I do."
