I started to wake up from the bed. After and hour talk, Aaron went home. I turned over. "Adam." I whispered. I looked over and saw his side of the bed, but he wasn't there. I sat up and bed and rubbed my eye. "Adam?" I called out again, but no response. I got out of bed and walked down the stairs to the kitchen.
"Adam, babe. Where are you?" I asked louder. I walked over to the counter and saw a note. I picked it up and started to read:
Hey beautiful,
I'm going out for the morning. I will be back around hopefully ten o'clock, maybe before you get the chance to read this. If you are reading this, I want to tell you good morning, Sunshine, and I love you.
Love with all my heart,
Adam BanksI smiled at the note, and kept rereading the note. I kissed the note and folded it. I walked back up the stairs to the bedroom and walked to the bed. I bent down and pulled out a box, a shoebox. I opened it and looked at all pictures and notes inside.
I grabbed a old folded piece of paper and opened it gently. I started to read. It was the note I gave Adam when I got traded for the Hawks team. I smiled and folded it back up. Then I got out w picture. A picture of the team and Ocean.
It was when we were in California for our competitions when we were Team USA. And this was the time Adam hurt his wrist from that one Russian player. We were sitting on the couch in the picture. I smiled again.
Great times.
I put the picture and the two notes in the box. I carefully put the lid on the box, and lightly pushed the box underneath the bed.
