"Good morning Sayaka," Kirari cooed as her Secretary entered the room.

Sayaka blushed and gave her a good morning kiss on the cheek. "Good morning Kirari."

Kirari hummed. She seemed to be enjoying her Secretary's facial expressions, while Sayaka was admiring Kirari's beauty.

Their moment was interrupted by a knock on the door.

Ririka entered the room sheepishly. Mary followed close behind.

"Ara~ How nice of you to grace us with your presence, Ririka. And......Saotome," Kirari said coolly with a slight chuckle.

"Shut up, sasquatch," Mary grumbled.

"My, what crude and limited vocabulary you have, Saotome Mary."

Mary was about to lash out on the grey-haired President when Ririka intercepted.

"U-Um! I brought you here to tell you something! Since you'll be moving in with me into the Momobami estates, I think you should know that Sayaka is already living there too, so you'll be seeing her around quite often," Ririka said hurriedly.

She glanced nervously at the President and her Secretary. "Er...also..."

"No need to be so nervous, Riri. I'll tell the blondie," Kirari continued. "Sayaka and I are engaged." She lifted her hand to show Mary the a sparkling ring. The diamond on top was the same colour as her Secretary's eyes. The large diamond was surrounded by smaller tiny diamonds the same brilliant blue as her own eyes.

Sayaka shyly brought out her own hand. On it was also a dazzling ring with a huge diamond on top. A diamond the same colour as Kirari's eyes. The colour of the smaller tiny diamonds surrounding the magnificent solid form made of carbon were the colour of Sayaka's own eyes.

"Oh you've gotta' be kidding me," Mary groaned. "I mean, at least Igarashi-san is level-headed. She can stop Kirari from doing stupid things."

Kirari feigned an offended look and placed her hand on her chest dramatically. "I beg your pardon."

Mary rolled her eyes. "Just stay out of our way."

"Saotome, please be more polite," Sayaka chided lightly. "Kirari is Ririka's sister. They've been together since young, you can't just separate them."

"No need, Sayaka. Commoners lack basic manners, I know that. However......"

Kirari's eyes glowed menacingly and her grip on Sayaka's waist tightened.

"If you dare to be rude to my fiancé, I will have your whole family wiped out. Even Ririka will not be able to save you."

Mary gritted her teeth, seething with pure indignation.

Thankfully, the bell rang, saving Ririka and Sayaka the trouble of stopping a potential fight.

"We'll be burning chemicals for chemistry today, so please be careful, especially those that are Student Council members," the teacher said, shooting a nervous look at Sayaka and Yumemi. The adult knew that she would definitely be in trouble if any Student Council member got injured on her watch.

"Moving on, this is the list of partners for all our chemistry lessons for the year."

Mary cursed as she read the list.

Pair 1: Igarashi Sayaka & Saotome Mary

This was gonna' go well.

Everyone mumbled amongst themselves while working, that including Sayaka and Mary.

"So...you and the President are really getting married? Aren't you too young?"

"I-I mean...it can't be illegal since Kirari technically rules Japan...a-and she wants us to be together forever officially," Sayaka answered nervously. "Why? Did she say she had someone else?" Her bottom lip trembled in panic.

"No! Calm down, it was just a question, alright?" Mary assured her before grabbing the Bunsen burner and proceeding to turn it on and setting it to a non-luminous flame.

Sayaka nodded, seemingly embarrassed to have shown her emotion in front of someone unfamiliar instead of her usual professionalism.

Trying to break the ice, the President's beloved Secretary decided to pose a question of her own. "Um, so when are you and Ririka getting engaged?"

"WHAT?!"

In a moment of anxiety, Mary wrung her hands up......

......and burned Sayaka's hand.

Sayaka yelped. "Mary!"

She moved away immediately but Mary tripped and the flame dropped onto Sayaka's hand once more before clattering to the floor.

Sayaka started to whimper and small tears sprung up in her eyes. She hurriedly washed her burned hand with cold water, while the teacher put out the flame.

Sayaka started to cry then. Tears cascaded down her turned-pale cheeks as she cradled her injured hand. "I-It hurts......"

"Oh shit," the teacher sighed. "I am so losing my job after this. Or maybe the Kaneshiro name will be wiped from Japan. God, please no......not my five-year-old daughter——"

"That's not the point!" Mary snapped at the teacher before grabbing Sayaka and bolting to the infirmary frenziedly.

"Riri, why hasn't Sayaka come back?" Kirari wondered aloud. "She's allowed to leave class early as always."

Just then,a nurse rushed into the room. She bowed deeply before talking. "Madame President! We require your immediate assistance!"
