Sayaka opened her eyes blearily as her hands moved around, trying to find a familiar warmth. The blanket covered her, keeping her warm and comfortable, but something was still missing.
Where was Kirari?
Sayaka groaned as she struggled to sit up before collapsing back onto the bed. She glanced at her bandaged arm, blushing when she saw a familiar blue lip mark on the bandage.
This just made her want to see Kirari even more.
Fueled by determination, the beloved fiancée of the Clan Head got up from bed on shaky legs before brushing her teeth and washing her face. Thereafter, she staggered out of her bedroom to find her fiancée.

Mary groaned as she got up from bed, surprised to see that her torso was bandaged.
'I'm not dead?' Mary thought. 'Did the Sasquatch and Ririka save me and Sayaka?'
Mary surveyed her surroundings, missing Ririka's usual presence.
"Fuck this...I'm going to find her. My torso be damned."
The reckless blonde shot up from bed and got onto her two feet, only to feel her blood rush to her head. Mary cursed as she swayed before fainting, her body falling onto the floor.

Mary felt something wet on her cheek. She groaned and shifted her face away, only for her other cheek to be wet.
The blonde opened her eyes slowly, only to see a gigantic golden retriever standing over her.
"You——Ringo?!"
Ringo responded by giving Mary another lick.
The dog used her tail to carry Mary up from the ground and onto her back.
"Hey, what are you doing? You're not a horse," Mary said as she petted Ringo's head.
Ringo barked happily before running straight through one of the walls into the next room.

Kirari didn't even bother to hide her yawn behind her hands. She was just utterly bored to her core.
"Ahem, Madame Momobami?" one of Japan's politicians said.
Kirari turned to her sister who was standing beside her chair for help, only to see her scrolling through her photo album of Mary.
"Just get it done," Kirari said dismissively.
Just as the portly politician was about to open his annoying mouth once more, a soft knock on the doors was heard.
Sayaka opened the door weakly, her entire body weight relying on her hands which were gripping the door handle tightly. Her face was ghostly pale and she had a dazed look in her eyes.
Kirari hurriedly got up from her seat before striding over to her fiancée. Sayaka sighed in relief as she released her death grip on the door handle and leaned against Kirari.
"Sayaka," Kirari said worriedly.
"Kirari...where were you? Couldn't...find you," Sayaka mumbled as she nuzzled her head against Kirari's chest.
Kirari put two and two together and figured that Sayaka must have woken up only to find that she wasn't with her.
"I'm sorry, I was in an extremely boorish meeting," Kirari replied softly as she moved one of her hands to stroke Sayaka's face tenderly.
Suddenly, a loud scream was heard. Ringo burst into the room through one of the walls with Mary on his back, barking happily.
"WHAT THE SHIT! HE CAN PASS THROUGH THE WALLS! LIKE LITERALLY PASS THROUGH THE WALLS!" Mary shouted before yelping as Ringo started to shake her back vigorously. "I MEAN SHE! I'M SORRY!"
Ririka gestured at the rest of the people to leave frenetically before tending to her lover. Ringo set Mary down gently before jumping excitedly towards Kirari and Sayaka.
Ringo followed Kirari as the Clan Head carried Sayaka to the nearby couch and laid her on it.
Meanwhile......
"Mary?! Are you alright?!" Ririka exclaimed anxiously as she shook the blonde's shoulders frenziedly.
"Ow! Yes I am! Now help me get up!"
"Oh! R-Right!"

"Hnngh...Kirari?" Sayaka whispered tiredly.
Kirari chuckled. "You silly girl. You're supposed to stay in bed."
"But I----"
"Shh, don't talk. I'll get you something to eat," Kirari replied lovingly.
Sayaka pouted and reached out towards her. "Carry me?"
Kirari thanked the heavens that Sayaka was too tired to see her burning cheeks.
The Clan Head glared at Ririka as she took a picture of her blushing face.
"Very well," she said softly. "Come on."
She took her fiancée into her arms and proceeded to carry her to the living room with Ringo in tow.

"They're in recovery, Mistress."
"Recovery hm? Don't allow them to heal fully. Attack when they least expect it."
"Yes."
"Especially that Igarashi girl. Though she's going to be a Momobami soon. If she recovers fully, we won't be a match for her powers."
"Yes."
