"SAYAKA!" Mary screamed. "Use those fancy magic of yours!"
To her utter horror, Sayaka fainted instead.
A gust of wind swept past the blond, followed by a familiar scream from behind.
Ririka ran to the cliff. "RARI!"
Kirari calmly fell through the air and kicked he man off Sayaka before grabbing her fiancée, just like she did at the Tower of Doors back then.
Poor Ririka collapsed on the spot due to stress at this sight.
Suddenly, a pair of pure white wings sprouted from Ringo's back.
Mary couldn't believe her eyes. 'Damn it! I can't faint now! I want to see this!'
Ringo zoomed past Mary and pic the cliff before catching Kirari and Sayaka at lightning speed. It all happened in less than a second.
The giant golden retriever flew back up and landed softly onto the ground.
Kirari got off Ringo's back gently before turning her attention onto Sayaka. She moved her lover's hair out of her face with tender hands before gazing at her fondly for a few minutes.
Unsurprisingly, Kirari gazed at her partner for so long until Ririka woke up.
"Huh?" Ririka said groggily as she awoke. "Oh no! RARI! And and and and SAYAKA! I'm going to buy some lillies for the funeral, and and I'll have to find my funeral attire——"
"Sorry to disappoint, dear sister, but I am very much alive. And so is Sayaka," Kirari chuckled.
"AH! G-G-GHOST!" Ririka screamed before fainting once more.
"Oh my," Kirari said. "I hope you don't mind carrying her, Saotome. After all, my hands are quiet full for the time being."
"Yeah," Mary grumbled. "By the way, why didn't Sayaka use her magnificent powers or something?"
"My wife is afraid of heights, believe it or not, except during the heat of a battle."
"Ah."
Ringo barked happily at the mention of Sayaka's name. Her wings dissipated into tiny sparkles.
"Hm. That man was willing to sacrifice his life to get rid of Sayaka," Kirari muttered to herself. "How......annoying."
Mary seemed confused. Wasn't everything interesting to her?
She looked in horror as Kirari's eyes turned pure black in murderous rage and her nails sharpened to that of claws.
She quickly turned back into her normal appearance when Sayaka started to stir.
"Hm......Kirari?" Sayaka whispered as she nuzzled her face against Kirari's warm chest.
"My darling," Kirari said softly.
"W-W-What are you doung here?!" Sayaka stuttered.
"Well, I just wanted to see you. And luckily I came."
Sayaka's cheeks reddened and she buried her face in Kirari's shoulder. "Thank you."
