Things are much more serious after the end of this chapter
3rd Person Pov:

Neptune welcomed them to the luxurious palace. It was even more magical on the inside. Just the first room alone displayed how fit the mansion was for royalty. There were cloudy white tiles on the floor, blue curtains as big as the Sunny, arched entrances to different rooms, walls inscribed with ancient designs, and many other remarkable elements such as those.

Luffy surged with excitement, made obvious by his enthusiastic scream, contenting Hancock enough to make her smile. Her mind was on a trail of its own. Of course, she loved being there with Luffy, but she already missed her sisters. The joy of being with her lover far surpassed the bothersome feeling of being without her sisters, but it was still present.

Perhaps it wasn't even that she missed them, as much as it was that she hadn't ever been away from them so long, so she didn't know how to manage. Marigold, Sandersonia, and Salome, she hoped they were okay. She shook her head, trying to shake away those thoughts. Her sisters were strong and smart enough to rule and protect Amazon Lily on their own, and she could always go to visit them after her journey with Luffy... after he became the Pirate King.

A short seahorse merman dressed in a guards attire spoke up, "What is wrong with you?! I've told you not to leave the palace on your own and without alerting your staff! So many things could have gone wrong with this!"

He was scolding the king? Of course, he had a point, but it was still unheard of for a King to be lectured like a child. The group watched in awe as Neptune let his head down and was scolded. It continued for quite some time before Luffy interrupted.

"Hey let's have the banquet already-*sniff* *sniff* Ooh, what's that?"

Happy to have been saved, Neptune hastily went along with what Luffy said.

"If you're done scolding me, we can greet the very special guests I've brought along. They're the ones that saved Megalo from the Kraken... Hmm? Where's Shirahoshi? The princess should be here for this."

Hancock winced at the mention of the Mermaid Princess.

"Actually, Your Highness, we had another incident..."

It seemed they were having a conversation without words, like they were communicating something that only the two of them knew about.

Neptune suddenly spoke up, "And she found out!? Don't give her anything else to worry about. She-"

"Don't give me that! Of you wanted her not to worry, you wouldn't have left here on your own! We thought you might have been dead!" The seahorse interrupted angrily.

"It won't happen again. I promise."

"Wow! Again!?" all of them thought simultaneously.

"It's unfortunate that you brought the guests yourself, there was a troubling report from prince Fukaboshi."

A catfish merman that the others hadn't been noticed before spoke up.

"Yes, it is quite troubling," he said

Dissatisfied with their vagueness, Neptune spoke up, "I trust our guests, spit it out."

"Wait, minute guys. Where are Luffy and Hancock?" Brook asked, noticing their absence.

"Damnit you can't take your eyes off of him for 5 seconds," Nami said, annoyed.

"-_- And that woman goes along with every crazy idea he comes up with. I think she might have a few screws loose as well." ‍‍ ‍‍ ‍‍ ‍‍ ‍‍ ‍‍ ‍‍ ‍‍ ‍‍ ‍‍ ‍‍ ‍‍ ‍‍ ‍‍‍‍ ‍‍ ‍‍ ‍‍ ‍‍ ‍‍ ‍‍ ‍‍ ‍‍ ‍‍ ‍‍ ‍‍ ‍‍ ‍‍ ‍‍ ‍‍ ‍‍ ‍‍ ‍‍ ‍‍ ‍‍ ‍‍ ‍‍ ‍‍
