Luffy X Hancock: Love and War (RM)

Narrow Escape

We continue forward, hopeful that it's Luffy and the others. But much to our dismay, when we got closer, we see that it was a giant Fishman. He noticed us and readied to attack the ship.

I had given up. We hadn't seen Luffy and the others and now we had a giant Fishman to fight. He just had to pop our coating and we were dead.

He barreled towards the ship, Nami told Franky to prepare a Coupe De Burst, but he said it wouldn't be ready in time. This was it. This is where I die.

He finally reaches the ship, but he's hit by a giant yellow tentacle. We look to see the Kraken from before. Atop its head is my wonderful Luffy and the others.

"LUFFYYY!!" Chopper cries.

The rest of the crewmates smile, happy for their comrade to return.

"Luffy" I utter with glee.

He had returned. I wipe my tears and cry for joy. The smile that Luffy always brought out of me had returned. I see him laugh and command the octopus to attack. Which it does. It makes short work of the giant Fishman and returns Luffy to Sunny. The three of them were all in one bubble.

"Why are you guys all in one bubble?" Nami asked.

"Because Sanji just left his bubble and I popped mine. Shishishishishi" Luffy laughs.

Nami shakes her head at his 'stupidity' but doesn't say anything.

"You actually tamed the Kraken, Luffy? That's so cool." Chopper said with stars in his eyes.

"Yep, I named him Surume" Luffy brags.

Chopper and a few of the other crew members became very impressed.

"Well, Chopper, have I told you about the time I tamed forty Krakens, who were all that big?" Ussop started

It seemed that things had returned to normal, thankfully. I don't know how I would have reacted if Luffy didn't make it. I run up to him and wrap my arms around him.

"Luffy! I'm so glad you're safe." I say with a smile.

He puts his welcoming arms around me and returns my hug. I smile at that. Nami points out that we have to continue.

And so we do, eventually reaching the entrance of Fishman Island. In our way are a few Fishmen.

"We aren't allowed to let you pass, Strawhat Luffy. But we can let you by if you agree to join us. We heard that you are good friends with Jinbe. This will determine whether or not you are allowed with the Fishmen." explained a yellow one with a long neck.

Nami had already told Franky to use the remaining air in the bubble to make an extra-strong Coupe De Burst that would send us into Fishman Island. Because we knew Luffy wouldn't agree to be someone else's subordinate. It was foolish for them to ask such a thing, PUNISHABLE BY DEATH.

"No, I'm not joining your stinkin' crew. I got my own crew."

"Choose wisely, Strawhat, if you become our enemy, then you are going to have to die."

Luffy stretched his face and stuck out his tongue at them. Showing his disregard for their preposterous proposition for him to become their underling.

"Okay, I-"

"COUPE DE BURST" Franky yells.

Luffy quickly stretches his arms to grab me and pull me to him. All of the air is sucked out of the coating and we are all forced down onto the floor. I lay on top of Luffy with a blush on my face. We soon penetrate the outer bubble that served as the membrane to Fishman Island.

The entirety of the crew is scattered by the currents in the water that's located in between the two bubbles. I remain in Luffy's arms, as we float hopelessly through the water. Neither of us could move, so we just floated aimlessly. Was I going to die in the arms of my dear Luffy?

Is this the end?
